Leila Alavi killed with scissors, police reveal, as estranged husband refused bail.

Mr Monty said Mr Hosseiniamraei followed the Baha'i faith and they were married at the Australian House of Worship on Sydney's northern beaches in 2011.
Ms Alavi was "like an angel with a bright smile", Mr Monty said.

"This is just a tragedy and we are all in shock. I looked to her as a sister. She was the most adorable person you could come across."
