Baha'i 'Spiritual Assembly' asks for money from its 'Members'.

Dearly loved Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly (of Canada) wishes to extend its sincere gratitude for your joyful and sacrificial gifts to the sacred Funds of the Faith, an "act imbued with profound meaning" and "a way in which commitment to the betterment of the world is translated into practice."

We wish to share with you that as of December 15, $17.2 million has been contributed towards the $36 million goal needed this year for the steady progress of the Cause. Dear Friends, this means that we are in need of nearly $19 million by Ridvan. And to ensure that year-end contributions can be made with ease, the Online Contribution System can be accessed by visiting www.bahai.us/fund and clicking Contribute. If you access the contribution site using a smart device, you will automatically be sent to the mobile giving version of the Online Contribution System.

The Universal House of Justice assures us that The universal participation of the believers in every aspect of the Faith-in contributing to the Fund, in teaching, deepening, living the Baha'i life, administering the affairs of the community, and, above all, in the life of prayer and devotion to God-will endow the Baha'i community with such strength that it can overcome the forces of spiritual disintegration which are engulfing the non-Baha’i world, and can become an ocean of oneness that will cover the face of the planet."
