ReplyDeleteThe Bab, (gate)was the forerunner of Baha'u'llah which means the Glory of God, he was the founder of the Bahai Faith. Not an 'ism' at all.
The Bab never said he was Christ. He was to the Bahai Faith as John the Baptist was to Christianity. Baha'u'llah was the closest you will get to the return of Christ if that is what you have chosen to believe.
However many do still believe in all the history which is all it is to me. The political control associated with all religion is indeed the opiate of the people.

As a member of the Bahai Faith for many years, I know that Baha'is are not allowed to join any secret societies. If a mason wants to join the Bahai Faith he must renounce his membership with the masons.

I would really not mind if the whole of Israel becomes Baha'i. In fact it will be better. It will be better for them and their neighbours. At least these good people (Israelis) will not carry Guns against the unarmed Palestinian farmers, women and children.
