به گزارش شیعه آنلاین، بهائیت دین ابداعی استعمارگران برای به بندکشیدن اعتقادات مسلمانان و به منظور اختلاف افکنی تاسیس شد. از اعتقادات بهائیان می توان به نفی خاتمیت حضرت محمد مصطفی صل الله علیه و آله، نفی وجود بهشت و جهنم و رد شرایع اسلام اشاره کرد.

از نظر تمام علمای شیعه پیروان این فرقه استعمار ساز کافر بوده و نمی توان با آنها داد و ستد کرد و در قبرستان مسلمانان دفن نمود. فتاوای فوق در مورد بهائیت مختص به تشیع نبوده بلکه اهل سنت نیز پیروان این فرقه ضاله را نجس می شمارند.

براساس فتوای دارالافتاء الازهر مصر این گروه ابداعی مرتد شمرده شدند. شیخ جاد الحق رئیس سابق الازهر ماهیت بهائیت را صیهونیستی دانسته و این فرقه را در خدمت اسرائیل و برای مقاصد استعمار و در واقع اعلام جنگ در مقابل اسلام عنوان کرده است. شیخ عبدالعزیز ابن باز عالم سلفی عربستان سعودی نیز در فتوایی کفر بهائیت را محرز دانسته و در عدم جواز دفن آنها در قبرستان مسلمانان حکم داده است.

با این حال حکومت بظاهر اسلامی بحرین که ماههاست صدهها تن از مسلمانش را به جرم اسلام خواهی کشته و مجروح ساخته با ردّ فتاوای علمای خود(اهل سنت) و در اقدامی عجیب محفل بهائیان را به رسمیت شناخت و برای فعالیتهای قانونی انها مجوز صادر نمود.

حکومت آل خلیفه که ید طولانی در دفاع و اجرای سیاست های صیهونیستی دارد حتی به این نکته نیز توجه نداشته که براساس اعتقادات تمامی مسلمانان نفی کنندگان خاتمیت کافر هستند و شاید این اقدام عملاً ضد اسلامی بودن حکومت بحرین را بیش از بیش روشن ساخت.

این حکم توسط وزیر وزارت حقوق بشر و توسعه اجتماعی بحرین، «فاطمة بنت محمد البلوشی» صادر شده است.

فتوای دارالافتاء در الازهر: بسم الله، والحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، و بعد: بهائیت یک فرقه و گروه مرتد از اسلام است، درست نیست که به آن ایمان آورد و با آنها مشارکت نمود و نسبت به ایجاد جمعیتها و مؤسساتی که ایجاد می کنند نباید بی تفاوت بود و چشم پوشید. این به آن سبب است که آنها بر اساس عقیده به حلول و تشریع غیر از آنچه خداوند نازل کرده و ادعای نبوت و حتی ادعای الوهیت به وجود آمده اند لذا مجمع بحثهای اسلامی در زمان شیخ جاد الحق این فتوی را صادر و مجمع کنونی نیز آن را تأیید می نماید.

علی جاد الحق (رئیس سابق الازهر): بابیه و بهائیه فکری است که از اختلاط فلسفه ها و دینهای متعدد به وجود آمده و در آن چیز تازه ای وجود ندارد که امت اسلامی برای اصلاح حال و وضع خویش در همه مسائل به آن احتیاج داشته باشد بلکه در واقع چیزی است که برای خدمت کردن به صهیونیسم و استعمار شکل گرفته است و مجموعه افکار و یک دین ساختگی است که امت با آن آزمایش می شود و به نام دین اعلان جنگ بر علیه اسلام است

سؤال: کسانی که معتقد به مذهب بهاء الله شده اند و کسی که مدعی نبوت و همچنین مدعی است که خداوند در او حلول کرده است حکمشان چیست؟ آیا برای مسلمانان جایز است که به این کافران اجازه دهند تا در قبرستان مسلمانان دفن شوند؟

جواب: اگر عقیده بهائیت همانگونه باشد که ذکر گردید در کفرشان هیچ شکی وجود ندارد بنابراین درست نیست که آنها را در قبرستان مسلمانان دفن نمود. هرکس بعد از بعثت پیامبر ما محمد _صلی الله علیه و سلم _ مدعی نبوت باشد دروغگوست و به نص و اجماع مسلمانان کافر است چون تکذیب کننده این فرموده خداوند است:” وما کَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِکُمْ وَلَکِنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِیِّینَ”(احزاب -۴۰) “محمد پدر هیچکدام از مردان شما نیست بلکه رسول خدا و خاتم پیامبران می باشد.” احادیث رسول الله _صلی الله علیه و سلم_ در حد تواتر در مورد اینکه رسول الله _صلی الله علیه و سلم_ خاتم پیامبران است و پیامبر دیگری بعد از او نخواهد آمد وجود دارد و همچنین هرکس ادعا کند که خداوند در او یا یکی از مخلوقات حلول کرده است به اتفاق همه مسلمانان کافر است چون خداوند در هیچیک از مخلوقاتش حلول نمی نماید بلکه او بزرگتر از آن است و هرکس گوینده این سخن باشد او نیز کافر است و تمام آیات و احادیثی که دلالت می کنند بر اینکه خداوند متعال بر عرش قرار دارد را تکذیب نموده است.

به تحقیق که او بالای همه مخلوقات است بزرگتر از آن است که مثل و مانندی داشته باشد او شبیهی ندارد و در کتاب خویش اینگونه خود را معرفی می نماید:” إِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِی خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ” (اعراف – ۵۴) “همانا پروردگار شما کسی است که آسمانها و زمین را در شش روز آفرید آنگاه بر عرش قرار گرفت.” چیزی را که خداوند متعال توضیح داده عقیده اهل سنت و جماعت است همان چیزی که پیامبران علیهم الصلاة و السلام و پایان بخش نبوت، محمد مصطفی (صلی الله علیه و سلم)، جانشینان هدایت یافته و اصحابش که مشمول رضایت خداوند و تابعینی که پیروی کننده در نیکی و احسان که تا امروز بر آن بوده اند، می باشد.

اين درحالي است كه اين مبلغان از طريق همين جوانان لو رفته و چندين نفر از آنان چندي پيش در جزيره كيش دستگير شدند. دستگير شدنگان كه اكثرا تهراني و تعدادي نيز از خارج آمده بودند با در دست داشتن جزوات بهائيت چاپ آلمان اقدام به فريب دادن جوانان و مسافران كيش مي كردند كه با اعتراض مردم و اطلاع به مقامات مسئول دستگير شدند.

گفتني است كه استفاده از مسائل جنسي براي جذب جوانان و كشاندن آنان به انحرافات اخلاقي از اصول اوليه و بديهي مبلغان بهائي است.

به گزارش فارس، شنيده ها حاكي از آن است كه يك شبكه فساد بين المللي كه به صورت كاملاً سازمان يافته در داخل كشور فعاليت مي كرد توسط دستگاه هاي اطلاعاتي - امنيتي كشور شناسايي و منهدم شد.

سران اصلي شبكه مذكور و تعداد قابل توجه اي از عناصر فعال آن همگي عضو تشكيلات بهائيت مي باشند كه ضمن حضور در ضيافات و جلسات متعدد فرقه ضاله بهائيت نظامت نشست ها را بر عهده داشته و دوره هاي ويژه تبليغ فرقه را نيز گذرانده بودند.

اين شبكه از طريق شبكه هاي ماهواره اي ضد اخلاقي مبادرت به عضو گيري و اشاعه فساد و فحشا در ايران مي كرد. سران شبكه به منظور انجام اين كار، تا مبلغ ماهانه 400 دلار آمريكايي از بيگانگان دريافت مي كردند.

اعضاي اصلي شبكه در شهرهاي تهران، كرج، اصفهان، شيراز، مشهد، ياسوج و عوض لارستان بازداشت شده اند. سركرده اين گروه خانم "مليحه.ر " ناظم ضيافت و از عناصر اصلي طرح روحي (طرح تبليغات سيستماتيك فرقه بهائيت) در استان فارس بوده است كه ضمن ارتباط گيري با بيگانگان و شبكه ماهواره اي ضد اخلاقي، اهداف ضد انساني فرقه را دنبال مي كرده است.

اشاعه فساد و فحشا، ترويج و تبليغ فرقه بهائيت از طريق جاذبه هاي جنسي تأثير همجنس گرايي از جمله شيوه ها و اهداف بيت العدل و ساير سران اين فرقه صهيونيستي و ضاله مي باشد.

مستندات تاريخي مورد تأييد فرقه بهائيت نيز مؤيد اين موضوع است كه فساد و فحشاء در بين سركردگان فرقه وجود دارد و كشف حجاب، بي بند و باري و اباحه گري از آموزه هاي فرقه ضاله بهائيت مي باشد.

Freemasonry, British Empire and the formation of Bahá'í Cult

From the alliance with Sufism during the eighteenth century, it was only a short step during the nineteenth century for the British to sponsor the creation of the cults and pseudo-religions as a tool of the Empire policy. Having carefully studied the Roman Empire as their model, the British had concluded that one of the chief reasons the Roman oligarchy had survived for 1,000 years was because it had learned how to use cults and "religions" to control its people.

During the 1820s the British Oligarchy established the so-called Oxford Movement, a groundswell of religious reform fever organized by Oxford University, the Anglican Church, and Kings College of London University. Their movement created a special kind of British "missionary", whose task it was to spread the perverted gospel of the Oxford Movement into other parts of the world.

The umbrella for this movement was not a church, but the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

The missionaries of the Oxford Movement were assigned to build subsidiary branches of the Scottish Rite throughout the Empire. When approaching an area like the Middle East, the Oxford Movement's freemasonic evangelists would not attempt to convert Muslims, for instance, to Christianity. Instead, they would try to bring the Muslim (Sufi) belief system into harmony with the cult practices of the Scottish Rite. Because of their highly heterodox, cult beliefs, the Scottish freemason, were bitterly condemned by the Catholic Church as an antireligious conspiracy capable of undercutting the authority of the Pope within the Church.

The Oxford Movement and the British freemasons had an ally that had also been condemned by the Vatican: the Society of Jesus, or the Jesuits. The Anglo-Jesuit alliance still stands today as the centerpiece of the European nobility's dark ages plot.

The chief sponsors of the British cult-building project during this period were the British royal family itself and many of its leading prime ministers and aides, such as Benjamin Disraeli, Lord Palmerston, Lord Shaftesbury, and Edward Bulwer-Lytton. From the 1820s onwards, the British aristocracy was ruled by the clique of the most degenerate, sexually perverse, and evil men and women the world has known. For their model, they took the image of the monstrous cult center that was Pompeii, in ancient Rome, where animal worship and bestiality were rule of "civilized" behavior.

Bulwer-Lytton, who served as the head of Britain's Colonial Office and India Office for years and then was succeeded by his son, was a practicing member of the ancient cult of Isis and Osiris, a death cult of Egypt under the late pharaohs that spread its poison throughout the Mediterranean world in the years before the coming of Christianity. In his cult novel "The Last Days of Pompeii", Bulwer-Lytton set the foundation for the cults of the future generation. This paragon of the empire-builder is the grandfather of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood of John Ruskin, the 1860s Metaphysical Society of Bertrand Russell, the 1880s Isis-Urantia Temple of the Golden Dawn of Aldous Huxley, and the Theosophy Society of Madame Blavatsky, who published "Isis Unveiled". Rites of black magic, devil worship, and self-mutilation were common feature of the British aristocracy during this period. Jack the Ripper was the most degenerate product of this cult life. His gruesome murders of whores in London's streets were part of a cult ritual!

The first recorder project of the nineteenth-century British cult aristocracy was the movement of the Bahais in Persia. Although it began as an experimental British foray in nonreligious, freemasonic cults, the Bahai movement would spawn the organizer of the future pan-Islamic movement - Jamaleddine Al-Afghani.

The Bahai cult was founded in approximately 1844 by the missionary named Miza Husayn Ali. He called himself Bahaullah. Today, the Bahais number over 300,000 in Iran alone, although many of them have quietly fled since the arrival of Khomeini's regime. But if their largest number is in Iran, the largest Bahai temple is in Haifa, Israel, and the world headquarters of the organization is in Wilmette, Illinois. Bahaiism began as a radical messianic cult in Persia that claimed to be a new religion and drew on a mishmash of Muslim, Christian, Zoroastrian, and Jewish ideas. The Bahais argued that their new doctrine superseded all other religions in a "one world faith". Although they preached love and universal brotherhood, they quickly found themselves most unwelcomed throughout Persia and the Middle East, for the Bahais became known as religious fanatics who were willing to do anything to further the cause of their faith.

In 1852, a Bahai leader was arrested after he tried to assassinate the Shah of Persia. The Bahais were suppressed in Persia, and many of their top leaders rounded up and exiled, first to Baghdad and then to Constantinople.

During this time the Bahai leaders - then including Bahaullah and his son, Abdul-Baha - maintained close ties to both the British Scottish Rite and to a proliferation of branch temples and movements spreading into India, the Ottoman Empire, Russia, and even Africa. In 1868, the Turkish government decided that it was too dangerous for the Bahais to be allowed to function freely, and they were placed under house arrest in Care, in Syria. But, with their powerful friends in London, the Bahai clique always managed to surface again.

By the 1890s, the cult was again gathering momentum, especially in Persia, E. G. Browne, a British cult specialist who studied Persia, went so far as to proclaim that the Bahais were the wave of the future in the Mideast. The British administrator in Egypt, Lord Curson, declared that if they maintained their pace, the Bahais might "replace" Islam as the dominant religion in Persia!

By the firs years of the twentieth century, it was common knowledge that the Bahai was product of British inspiration. They were accused by the Turkish government of trying to establish a pseudo tribal “colony" in Syria as beachhead for the British in the Ottoman Empire. In 1904 and again in 1907, the Turks investigated the Bahais, and the investigation's report recommended that they be banished from the Empire.

Before the sentence could be carried out, however, the so-called Young Turks - another fifth column of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and the Gran Orient Lodge - seized power in their revolution. Abdul-Baha was released from prison.

After his release, the Bahai leader went to London and New York, where he met the elite of both cities. In 1912, he set out on a speaking tour of the United States where, according to the official Bahai publications, he spoke to "university students, socialists, Mormons, Jews, Christians, agnostics, Esperantists, peace societies, New Thought clubs, women's suffrage societies" and many other centers.

In 1918, Abdul-Baha was knighted by the Queen of England.

Everywhere he went, he preached a single message: the necessity of abolishing nation-states, existing wolrd religions, and national borders to melt everything into a single world order. The Bahai cult took a leading role in the founding of the World League of Nations, the forerunner of the United Nations, and his organization had close ties to the World Nations, and his organization had close ties to the World Federalists.

Abdul-Baha's daughter married the founder of the so-called Esperanto language, a project to abolish all tongues and replace them with one language. The Bahais could also be founded in the middle of the British-led social reform movements.

Bookcases smashed and toppled. Chairs strewn about. Electronics and cash missing. A layer of fire extinguisher foam covering nearly everything.

Dismay quickly turned, though, to concern for the perpetrators.

“We stood outside and said prayers, and the first prayer was for whoever did it,” John Cole told reporter Mecca Rayne of KKTV Channel 11 News for a piece airing that evening.

Maxism is a political ideology. It seeks destruction of nations, destruction of distinct peoples, destruction of the family and natural male-female relations via “feminism” (which is effectively anti-woman), and destruction of religion.

The Baha’i faith seeks all these same things, except they won’t say the last part because they think they are a religion. Indeed, what the Baha’i Faith really is is Marxism (a political ideology) posing as a religion. As to the aspect of religion, you can’t have a group of people completely focused on the world, racial mixing, bodies, and the external — and call it a respectable religion. The respectable religions negate the world. The Baha’i Faith is opposite to this; it is is completely world-focused. Thus it is, in reality, a negation of real religion or the best wisdom aspects of religions like Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Yoga. In that way, the Baha’i Faith also fulfills the Marxist goal of destruction-of-religion. Because once a people has let their religion be replaced by the Baha’i Faith, they really don’t have “religion” at all any more.

For this reason Baha’is don’t NEED to be involved in politics (and I think many of the connections you site are only happenstance, Baha’is trying to create photo ops for themselves). They don’t need to be “involved” in politics because the Baha’i Faith is 100 percent a political movement at this point. (What’s everybody pushing for on the political stage? Destruction of national sovereignty, affirmative action for minorities, etc.) They are politics itself.

At the same time they influence the minds of politicians and governors and convey to them Marxist ideals under the strange nimbus of religion that they float around those nation-destroying ideals. Lots of naive governors, lacking real religious understand it, start thinking that race and nation-destruction is virtuous.

Google changes enable 'per country' blog takedowns

Blogger sites can now be blocked on a "per country" basis after a change to its web address system.

Google will now be able to block access in individual countries following a legal removal request.

The new system means blocking will not require restricting world-wide access to a blog.

The changes apply in Australia, New Zealand and India, but the BBC understands Google plans to roll it out globally.

The news follows Twitter's announcement that it could selectively block tweets on a country-by-country basis - news that attracted criticism from free speech campaigners.

However, Joss Wright, research fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute, said he felt the changes to Blogger were a positive step.

"Google's new approach to supporting country-level takedown requests in Blogger strikes a good balance between free speech, legality and practical issues for end users.

"By allowing per-country takedown requests, Google can meet local laws without blocking content at a global level."

Change of address

Under the new system, a blog reader will, in the first instance, be directed to a website address using a "country-code top level domain".

For example, for users based in Australia, Blogger's servers will automatically direct them to blogname.blogspot.com.au.

"If you visit a blog that does not correspond to your current location as determined by your IP address, the blogspot servers will redirect you to the domain associated with your country," Google said in a Q&A the company posted about the changes.

Google believes this will allow it to comply with local law enforcement requests, while keeping content available in other jurisdictions.

Additionally users will also able to tell Google to direct them to a different country web address by adding "/ncr" - ncr stands for "No Country Redirect".

In order to read a blog via a US web address users outside America would type " blogname.blogspot.com/ncr".

"Blog readers may request a specific country version of the blogspot content by entering a specially formatted 'NCR' URL, " the company wrote in the Q&A.

It is not clear, however, if this would work for requests to access blocked blogs made from the jurisdiction in which the removal notice originated.

Keeping it local

The company has in the past taken a similar local approach to blocking content in other products.

For example, Google has said it removes all Nazi-related content from Google.de, the address for its German services.

In a 2007 blog post, which the BBC understands still reflects the firm's position, Google said that "dealing with controversial content is one of the biggest challenges we face as a company".

In the same post the company noted that different national laws on free speech "create real technical challenges, for example, about how you restrict one type of content in one country but not another".

With this system Google may have, for Blogger at least, answered its own question.

Human rights groups 'Trojan horses of the West'

The Libyan example proves to the world that so-called human rights organizations are really the Trojan horses of Western foreign policy, Middle East expert Sukant Chandan told RT from London.

Doctors Without Borders recently suspended its mission in Misrata, saying it had to treat patients for injuries sustained during interrogation. Chandan believes that the so-called humans rights organizations like Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and Doctors Without Borders traditionally have a Western-centric tinge to everything they do.

“They seem to provide 'human rights' justification for certain Western policies of foreign aggression,” he said. And once a country is invaded with humans rights organization helping to justify the aggression, there is always the sudden surprise that such an intervention could bring violations of the human rights such groups are meant to protect.

“Doctors Without Borders expresses surprise, but frankly they are being used in this way and they are allowing themselves to be used in this way. And it is high time people across the world see these human rights organizations like they really are the – basically the Trojan horses of Western foreign policy,” Chandan continues.

Libya has developed into torture state, Chandan says, while during the Gaddafi days “there was a much better human rights situation – by any standards.”

Human rights groups say the torture and killing of detainees is an ongoing problem in Libya, but it is doubtful that the militias responsible for torture will ever be held accountable, Chandan says.

And with Libya's new government accused of abuse in the country's detention centers, it’s been revealed that one former senior official could have fallen victim to torture too.

Libya’s ex-ambassador to France, Omar Brebesh, has died in custody the day after being detained by an armed group.

Chandan pointed out that he was by the city of Zantani's militia, which has been accused of torturing its political opponents to death.

“There are a lot of interesting political games going on in Libya,” he told RT, explaining why Zantani's militia is in the spotlight. “The Zantani militia are holding Seif al-Islam Gaddafi. And the West, especially the International Criminal Court, is very fearful of what the militia is going to do with Seif al-Islam.”
Because Gaddafi’s son does not have any means of communication and has not made any public statements, he remains militia’s “biggest power play.”

Looking at Iraq and Afghanistan, one can say that stability and peace is a remote prospect for Libya, Chandan concluded.

The following incidents were taken from Wilmette Police Department reports on Jan. 23-26.

The word “die” was discovered written in white chalk on the wall outside Baha’i Temple office, 415 Linden Ave., at 1:23 a.m. Jan. 24. A police officer discovered the same type of graffiti outside several businesses and an apartment building also in the 400 block of Linden Avenue.

Sen McGlinn: PLEASE ANSWER

Sen McGlinn is a self proclaimed Baha'i Scholar, who believes in Baha'u'llah and the Haifan UHJ but the Haifan UHJ does not believe in him and has withdrawn his Voting Rights for some reasons that you can read on his blog.

Sen McGlinn is a very active Haifan Baha'i, you can find him on the Internet at many places debating with christians and muslims. He does not want to convince the Jews that Baha'u'llah was the promised one of Judaism. He has his personal blog where he posts his Baha'i thoughts but censors the comments of genuine critics.

He has a posting on his blog where he tries to defend Abdul Baha by proving that he was not a "Servant" of the British Imperialism. You can find many proofs that clearly establishes the fact that he (AB) was an arrogant man and was working for British Government. for eg., the book published by the then government of Palestine states that "Abdul Baha was awarded the title SIR for his valuable services rendered to the British Government in the early days of occupation"

Wahid Azal is trying to find out the original "Knighthood Document" of Abdu'l Baha to confirm what he believes.

Here are some of his findings in this regard which he posted as a comment on Sen McGlinn's wordpress blog. But it is a practice of Haifan Baha'is to delete the critical comments from their blogs and silence the Critic by lobbying. The hypocrisy of the Baha'is is evident and clear in every aspect.

Your argumentation, Mr McGlinn, is the usual porous yet laughable spin-meistering, revisionist (a)history and propaganda you are quite well known for. These two documents are one of countless paper trails establishing the political and economic connection of the Bahai cult with the British Imperial powers. That the British cabinet would devote this amount of time and consideration to a sectarian movement such as Bahai proves it. That a deliberation is being made over how to assist the Bahai cultists is yet another. Representatives of the Court of St James are on record claiming this material was declassified by them long ago. I quote you their communication to me:

Dear Mr. Azal Thank you for your email, and I apologise that it has taken some time to get back to you.

I confirm that on 31st October 1919 the Central Chancery were advised by the Foreign Office that The King had appointed Mr. Abdul Baha Abbas, Leader and Head of the Bahai Religion in Palestine, to be an Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. We have no further information as to the reasons for this award.

I have spoken to the Honours Secretariat at the Foreign Office; I understand their records are only held for 15 years before being sent to the National Archives so they would be unable to give assistance here. You may yourself like to contact the National Archives at Kew, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 4DU (website www.nationalarchives.gov.uk) in this connection.

I am sorry I cannot be more helpful.

During the 19th century, Britain had firm control over India; at the same time Russia had been expanding south and east into Central Asia toward India, and a rivalry started between Britain and Russia over territorial and political control in Central Asia. The piece of land that was located between India and Russian holdings, included Persia, was a highly coveted region, where both Russia and Britain worked to gain influence.

Briefly, the situation was –

Support of the United Kingdom during the Constitutional Revolution,
Anglo-Russian convention which solidified boundaries that identified control between Britain and Russia in Persia, Afghanistan, and Tibet,
The occupation of Iranian territory during the First World War by the UK, Russia and the Ottoman Empire, as well as the coup d’état of 1921 which was backed by the British.

In such circumstances the Russian Government, to gain control over central Asia - especially Iran created a false Religion called as Bahaism.

The Bahá’í Faith and the Bahá’ís have had ties to foreign powers, and were agents of Russian imperialism, British colonialism, American expansionism and International Zionism.

Bahá’í teachings promote to be loyal to one’s government and not be involved in politics but the fact is exactly contrary to what is preached. Baha’is are always involved in politics and seen with political leaders. They are known to have been involved in espionage activities in each and every country. This is the reason why they are banned in most of the countries. These countries found the followers of Bahá’í Faith, having dual loyalty and of being involved with foreign or hostile powers.

Some of these countries are:

EGYPT

The late PRESIDENT JAMAL ABDUL NASSER BANNED THE BAHA'I FAITH IN EGYPT IN 1960. His government found clear relationship between Baha'i Faith and Zionism. The President decree was as under:

Clause l: All Bahá’í Assemblies and Centers existing in the two regions of the Republic are hereby dissolved, and their activities suspended. Individuals, bodies and institutions are forbidden to engage in any activity, as was conducted by these Assemblies and Centers. The Minister of the Interior will issue the necessary instructions to bring to an end the activities of these Assemblies and Centers.

Clause 2: The properties of the Bahá’í Assemblies and Centers shall be taken over by officials appointed by the Minister of the interior. The Minister shall designate a guardian to be in custody of the funds, documents and papers owned by the said Assemblies

Clause 3: Any infringement of this law is an offence deserving imprisonment of a minimum of Six months, and/or a fine from 100 to 1000 Egyptian pounds.

Clause 4: This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and will be enforced from the Date of publication.

INDONESIA
The President of Indonesia in 1960 dissolved Bahai Adminstration and made every Baha'i activity illegal Recently in 2009 Bahá’ís were arrested in Indonesia on Criminal Charges of violating "The Law of Child Protection". The Bahá’ís were prosecuted under the Law of Child Protection 23-2002 trying to convert children of other faith as young as 9 to 10 years.

IRAQ
President Saddam Hussain not only dissolved Baha'i organization in Iraq but issued an order that any Baha'i activity will be met with death sentence. Following the Baathist coup in 1963, the then leaders drastically limited the freedoms previously guaranteed to the Iraqi citizens. The new regime began with attempts to prevent Baha’i activity in Iraq in 1967. This culminated in the decision of the Directorate of Civil Status No. 358 24 / 7 / 1975 that stopped registration of Baha’is in the records of civil status.

In May 1970, the Iraqi Government banned all Baha'i Institutions and Baha'i activities. In mid December 1973, an incident created a stir which engulfed the life of many Baha’is. In a government owned school, many Baha'i girls were secretly propagating the Baha'i Faith to other classmates. The girls reported the matter to the authorities that propagation of an Israeli based Faith is going on in the campus. The matter was reported to the Ministry of education. He ordered the investigation on the following day. The investigation revealed a network of Israeli based organization is behind it. The head Master was dismissed and the girl was arrested together with her three Baha'i classmates Almost fifty people were arrested in the course of next few months. A military court sentenced fourteen of them to life imprisonment, three to fifteen years and nine to ten years in jail. Further severe action was taken against suspected members of this organization involved in conversion and espionage.

USSR
The former USSR called Baha’is as Enemy of State. Surprising indeed from a country which nurtured the Faith initially.

In 1937, “NKVD” (People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs) outlawed about 40 Bahá’í communities existing at that time in USSR. From the 13th of October, all the members of the Bahá’í Spiritual Assembly of Baku and dozens of community members were arrested. All of them were punished for their illegal and anti State activities

The chairman of the Spiritual Assembly, Faraj Jaffargulu Gasimov (the nephew of the first Bahá’í from Salyan, Hadim Javad) and his wife, Fizza Muradova were imprisoned. The “NKVD” people called him “national enemy”. Many were imprisoned and a few Baha’is were exiled to Siberia.

In October 1938 the building of the Bahá’í center was confiscated in Baku. Now there is a kindergarten in this building.

In November 1982, KGB started arresting the Bahá’ís. S.D. Asadova, I.F. Gasimov and I.G. Ayyubov were arrested. All their meetings were declared illegal and every Baha'i activity forbidden. Even the greetings on the phone “Allah’u’Abha” were forbidden.

UNITED ARAB REPUBLIC
The UAR Government called Baha’is as “state within the state”.

GERMANY
In 1937 Heinrich Himmler signed an order disbanding the Bahá’í institutions in Germany. In 1939 and in 1942 there were sweeping arrests of former members of the National Spiritual Assembly of Baha’is of Germany. In May 1944 there was a public trial in Darmstadt. The Bahá’ís were heavily fined and it's institutions continued to be disbanded.

Following the fall of Nazi Germany, and with American and British control of Germany, an American Bahá’í, John C. Eichenauer (a medic of the 100th Infantry division then at Geislingen) started searching for the Bahá’í community in Stuttgart. He drove through Stuttgart looking and asking for Bahá’ís and was able to find an individual. The next day saw the first meeting of Bahá’ís since their disbandment in 1937.

Two other American Bahá’ís, Bruce Davison and Henry Jarvis, in Frankfurt and Heidelberg respectively, also connected with the Bahá’í community in Germany. At the beginning of the partition of Germany there were about 150 German Bahá’ís in the American section and they became registered with the American authorities. The National Spiritual Assembly was re-elected in 1946. Needless to say, US was involved in establishment of Bahaism in post-war Germany. John C. Eichenauer, Bruce Davison and Henry Jarvis were established US secret agents.

IRAN
The Iranian Authorities always believed that Baha’is are the face of Israel in Iran. It is a well known fact that the Bahai Administration has issued statements for the Baha’is of Iran to go and teach the Iranians and face whatsoever consequences came. One should ask the Baha’is "where is the obedience to government" principle of the religion in this case?

Bahá’ís held many prominent positions in Iran during the Shah regime. In the government of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, half of the Shah’s cabinet were Bahá’ís.

Shah’s personal physician, Abd al-Karim Ayadi was a Baha'i. Amongst other Bahá’í who held position in the Shah regime was Asadullah Sanii. The then Minister of Defence, Parviz Sabeti, was raised in a Bahá’í family. The Prime Minister Amir-Abbas Hoveida was a Bahá’í. The Baha’is agree that Hoveida’s father was a Baha'i but say that Hoveida himself was not religious. Other Bahá’ís included Mahnaz Afkhami, who was the Minister for Women’s Affairs and the daughter of a Bahá’í mother and Farrokhroo Parsa, another cabinet member .

CIS COUNTRIES
More recently the Baha’is are being under strict surveillance in CIS countries like AZERBAIJAN, UZBEKISTAN, TAJAKISTAN etc. In fact Baha’is are being deported from Uzbekistan for secretly converting children under 15 years.

KYRGYZSTAN
The 2009 Religion Law, passed under former President Kurmanbek Bakiev was aimed at curtailing the Baha'i Activities. It stated “If a community has "administrative centres located beyond Kyrgyzstan or having foreign citizens in its administrative body" it is classified as a "mission". This community must re-register every year and does not have legal status. It's registration can be refused if it posses "a threat to the state and social security, the inter-ethnic and ecumenical concord, health and morality of the population, or in other cases anticipated by legislation.”

YEMEN
The Baha'i Faith is banned in Yemen since 2008. Many Baha’is were deported because of their conversion activities. Last year in Yemen four Baha’is were arrested by the Interior ministry for secretly propagating their religion. The three Baha’is of Iranian origin, Zia’u’llah Pourahmari, Keyvan Qadari, and Behrooz Rohani, were arrested in Sana’a, on the night of June 20, 2008. A fourth Baha’i, Sayfi Ibrahim Sayfi, was also arrested around the same time and was deported to Iraq.

According to the source close to the group, the men were arrested and taken to the national security headquarters’ prison where they spent 40 days – most of the time in isolated cells – before being sent to Sana’a General Investigation Department.

Countries like SAUDI ARABIA, OMAN, JORDAN, MOROCCO also see Baha’is as hands of Zionists.

The Bahá’í Faith was banned in the 1970s in several countries like:
BURUND in 1974;
MALI in 1976;
UGANDA in 1977;
CONGO in 1978;
NIGER in 1978.

INDIA
The world’s largest democracy India with all its secular credentials has come out with “Anti conversion law” in its 11 states so as to prevent this very secret sect from deceptive propagation. The law states:

Prohibition of forcible or deceptive conversion
No person shall convert or attempt to convert, either directly or otherwise, any person from one religious faith to any other religious faith by the use of force or by inducement or by any FRAUDULENT means nor shall any person abet any such conversion.

Any person contravening the provisions contained in section 3 shall, without prejudice to any civil liability, be punishable with Imprisonment to the extent of two years and fine up to ten thousand rupees.

According to a report published in India’s leading Newspaper, The Hindustan Times in July 2006, as per a complaint filed in city court - the members of National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of India were accused by their colleagues of using impersonations and forgery to clandestinely penetrate into prohibited defense establishment of the country and get hold of classified documents and supplied them to Israeli and Iranian spying agencies.

PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA AND NORTH KOREA
The Bahá’í Faith is not recognized in the People’s Republic of China and North Korea and so there is no organized Bahá’í activity.

JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA
Even in countries such as Japan and South Korea, where there is religious freedom, the position of the Bahá’í Faith resembles that of Western Europe where Baha’is are only on paper.

MOROCCO
In Morocco in 1962-1963, 15 Bahá’ís were arrested for their religious convictions; three were given death sentences and several others years of prison term at hard labor. There were months of diplomatic efforts which bore no results.

On March 31, 1963 during a visit to the United States and the United Nations, King Hasan of Morocco was interviewed on television. He addressed the audience saying that “Though the Bahá’í Faith was against good order and morals" that he would still pardon the death sentences. It is evident that he succumbed to the US pressure.

Arrest of Baha’is occurred again in 1984, due to their secret teaching activities and sending confidential reports to Israel. Bahá’ís have more recently been denied passports and can practice their religion only in private.

ISRAEL
Last but not the least... strange indeed - Baha’is are not supposed to teach in Israel. There is a total ban. The matter is very mysterious that although Israel supports Baha’is in all aspects, yet why the State of Israel does not permit the Baha’is to propagate the Bahai Faith.


Baha'is are not allowed to teach in Israel for "unknown reasons"

Quote : Whenever an Israeli citizen living in the West, irrespective of his background and religious affiliation, declares his belief and interest in becoming a member of the Bahá’í community ,he should be informed that the Faith is not taught in Israel and that there is no Bahá’í community there apart from those who are associated with the Bahá’í World Center. He cannot be accepted into the Bahá’í community if he is planning to return to Israel to reside there. If he plans to continue to reside outside Israel, his enrollment can be accepted, but he will then be subject to the same restrictions about travel to Israel as any other Bahá’í, in that he could do so only with the express permission of the Universal House of Justice.In any event, the Universal House of Justice should be informed of any such declaration.

The prophet, who declares himself to be the " third manifestation of God" is the son of Baha‘u’llahh, who first brought the movement into prominence. He spent several years in prison, being regarded as a political offender by the Persian Government. His representative in Paris is Hippolyte Dreyfus, who recently married Miss Laura Barney.

Association of Abbas Effendi With Colonel Badri Beg

This officer was a staff Colonel and associated with military & civil functionaries. He had a beautiful step daughter, the child of his wife by former marriage, who gathered young men around her.

Colonel Badri Beg hired a house at Haifa to spend the summer season there. He attended evening parties of the French Consul and leading members of the [Arab] Christian community. They engaged themselves in gambling.

The Most Great Branch [Sir Abbas Effendi] met all the [gambling] losses of the Beg, and provided for the upkeep of the [Beg's] house, and for the expenses of the [Beg's] step daughter. Thus the step daughter came to have plenty opportunity. She became familiar with a good looking Italian man. At night they met together and indulged themselves in love affair.

Some people became aware of the affair and advised the Beg to send the family to Acre. As the Beg himself had connection with the girl, and could not send her away from him. He disregarded the advice.

Eventually the Beg came to know about the affair and this roused his jealousy. One evening the Beg detailed two soldiers to go and deliver a message to the Italian young man on behest of the girl to come & see her at night. The house was unattended. The occupant had gone to Acre. As soon as the Italian young man came into the house & seated himself in the drawing room, the two soldiers appeared at the scene, caught hold of him, strangled him to death, stuffed up his throat with a long piece of rag, took him away and cast him into the sea.

In their hurry & bustle, they did not tie a stone to his foot to keep the corpse at the bottom of the sea.
In the morning his mother and relatives begun to search for the young man. Finally the young man's body was discovered near the sea shore, strangled to death.

The incident set people's tongue wagging. His mother and relatives raised a tumult in Haifa. They held Badri Beg responsible for the incident and brought an action against him and also against [Sir] Abbas Effendi because he came to Haifa after and frequented the Beg's house."

I realised that the allegation against the Most Great Branch [Sir] Abbas Effendi reflected on the whole family. By strong arguments and proof I applied myself to proving that it was impossible for him to have been involved in the matter. I called on members of the bereaved family to offer my condolences. I seised the opportunity to convince them that my brother [Sir] Abbas Effendi had not taken part at all in the matter. The mother of the deceased replied: "If he had not taken part in the matter, and had no connection with the girl, why did he take her to his own home in Acre?" I endeavoured as far as possible to exonerate the Most Great Branch [Sir] Abbas Effendi as the allegation reflected on the family as well as on Baha's name. But I did not expect that he would take her to his own house. I went to Acre to see what had happened. I enquired from the Baha'is and others. I found out that he had put up the notorious prostitute girl in his own house, the 'Abbud-House', which was the dwelling place of the Blessed Beauty [i.e. Baha], exalted be his power, before his ascension [i.e. death].

As Israeli Jewish terrorist attacks on mosques in occupied Palestine are assuming a phenomenal frequency.

Israeli Jewish SettlersIndeed, with the Israeli government and security establishment doing next to nothing to put an end to this wanton and unprovoked terror, a huge fire is being started in the region.

In religious wars, all sides are usually variably culpable and blamable. However, in the occupied Palestinian territories, Jewish fanatics bear nearly 100% of the blame.

Their attacks against mosques are not provoked by similar Palestinian attacks against Jewish religious places. In fact, Jewish terror groups readily admit that arson attacks against mosques are meant to embarrass the Israeli occupation army.

The attacks are perpetrated under the slogan “Price Tag” every time the Israeli army moves to dismantle a Jewish settlement outpost.

So why is it that the Palestinians and their places of worship are attacked, not the Israeli army?

Well, it takes a thoroughly sick mind to rationalize, even glamorize such attacks, but the Israeli settler camp never faces a shortage of virulence, mental depravity and mental sickness.

We are talking after all about the worst of the worst that racist, Talmudic Judaism could breed, people who view the rest of mankind as subhuman.

The practical implications of such a venomous ideology are enormous and absolutely nefarious. If non-Jews are subhuman, then their lives must be worthless, have no sanctity and expendable.

Think not I am making an exaggeration as it is difficult to exaggerate the evilness of these racist thugs who spend a lifetime demonizing and dehumanizing humanity as they celebrate their Chosen-people or Master-race status.

Unfortunately, the Israeli government and security establishment are giving these criminal-minded thugs a free rein to gang up on virtually unprotected Palestinian civilians, torch mosques and churches and vandalize olive groves throughout occupied Palestine.

It is very hard to buy the Israeli government’s argument that these terrorists are a marginal group. But even if they were a marginal group, this wouldn’t minimize the gravity of their terrorist actions.

The Nazi Hitler Youth was once viewed as a marginal group. However, the world saw what that “marginal” group was able to do during Kristalnacht in November, 1938.

Hence, the question begs itself whether the Israeli government should wait until the so-called hill-top “troublemakers” morph into a Jewish Hitler Youth.

Unfortunately, the Israeli government, the most fascist ever, can’t be given the benefit of the doubt.

In the final analysis, the suspected connivance and obvious leniency with which the Netanyahu government treats these despicable criminals, along with the mind-boggling reluctance to prosecute them raise many hard questions about the nature of that government.

One Israeli writer, when asked recently why the government didn’t exercise its legal authority to arrest and try Jewish terrorists who attack Muslim and Christian holy place, said a venomous snake wouldn’t bit its own tail.

There is another worrying dimension to this obscenity, namely the virtually complete absence of real condemnations of these terrorist acts by Jewish leaders in Israel and abroad.

Jewish leaders in Europe and North America wouldn’t wait a minute to condemn the slightest anti-Semitic attack on Jewish targets, even if this target happened to be a lone Jewish grave in an isolated village in Eastern Europe .

Even remarks or even slip-of-the-tongue jokes are castigated and people are made to pay a price.

However, when fellow Jews carry out outrageous acts of terror, arson and vandalism against mosques and churches, we see that these same Jewish leaders become speechless as if the acts of terror took place in a different galaxy.

The Jewish leadership must realize that the orphans of Kahana and thuggish terrorists of Gush Emunim are more than trouble makers. They are in fact criminal fire-starters whose pyromania could burn Jews as well as non-Jews.

Hence, Jewish leaders must have the necessary courage and rectitude to admit that Jewish terrorism is a two-lane street and that Muslims won’t stand idle if their peaceable holy places continue to be torched and vandalized in the most blatant and unprovoked manner.

Of course, it would be naïve to expect verbal condemnations by Jewish leaders to stem the tide of Jewish settler terror against Muslim and Christian holy places.

“John Ricardo I. "Juan" Cole (born October 1952) is an American scholar, public intellectual, and historian of the modern Middle East and South Asia. He is Richard P. Mitchell Collegiate Professor of History at the University of Michigan. As a commentator on Middle Eastern affairs, he has appeared in print and on television, and testified before the United States Senate.

Cole became a member of the Bahá'í Faith in 1972 as an undergraduate at Northwestern, and the religion later became a focus of his academic research. He resigned from the faith in 1996 after disputes with Bahá'í leadership concerning the Bahá'í system of administration.”

The Baha'i faith stands for universal love, for tolerance, and for a separation of religion and state. The need for religious leaders to let politicians do the ruling is a key value stated over and over again in Baha'i scripture.

Unfortunately, a weird Baha'i sub-cult has arisen. It structurally resembles al-Qaida, and differs from al-Qaida only with regard to methods, not ideals. It does not usually employ violence or terrorism (though persons with this mindset have beaten up friends of mind).

And, most frighteningly of all, it has taken over and subverted the main institutions of the Baha'i faith.

"I recall being in Haifa in the '70s ('72 and '78) and hearing long talks about this from Ian Semple, on how the world was destined to be ruled by houses of justice and there will eventually be no distinction between church and state, with rather snide and smug comments about how at last the world will finally get it right and have God and Government fused through the power of the Baha'i covenant."

Note that this is the opposite of what `Abdu'l-Baha says in the Treatise on Leadership:

Ian Semple also put out a letter from the Secretariat of the UHJ:

"As for the statement made by Shoghi Effendi in his letter of 21 March 1932, the well-established principles of the Faith concerning the relationship of the Baha'i institutions to those of the country in which the Baha'is reside make it unthinkable that they would ever purpose to violate a country's constitution or so to meddle in its political machinery as to attempt to take over the powers of government. This is an integral element of the Baha'i principle of abstention from involvement in politics. However, this does not by any means imply that the country itself may not, by constitutional means, decide to adopt Baha'i laws and practices and modify its constitution or method of government accordingly."

In this passage he basically argues for a Nazi-like tactic of getting elected democratically and then abolishing democracy. By the way, the Islamists (with al-Qaida links) tried this in Algeria, and the democrats and secularists fought back, embroiling the country in a civil war that has cost 100,000 lives. This is the sort of conflict between theocratic Baha'is and the rest of society that Semple is urging on the world. At that point would the Baha'i theocrats refrain from violence?

2) Al-Qaida wishes to reestablish the Islamic Caliphate as the One World Government.
Baha'i theocrats substitute the House of Justice for the Caliphate and envision it ruling the world.

3) Al-Qaida despises parliamentary democracy as corrupt, money-driven and unrepresentative. It wishes to overthrow parliaments and institute authoritarian religious rule instead.
Baha'i theocrats despise parliamentary democracy and wish to substitute their religious institutions, which are not freely elected, for civil government. Long-time Baha'i leader Firuz Kazemzadeh said in 1988:

"If somebody is dissatisfied with a local assembly, he is not prevented from appealing to the NSA . . . It is something else when whispering campaigns or petitions are sent around for signatures objecting to the activities of the institutions. That also may be something which is countenanced by American democracy but has nothing to do with the Bahaullah and Baha’i Faith. We must always remember that our institutions are an unusual and unique combination of theocracy in the best sense of the term with democracy. The institutions of the Baha’i Faith have not been created by us, the institutions have
been created by God.

Actually, Kazemzadeh's version of the Baha'i institutions has been created by Kazemzadeh.

4) Al-Qaida establishes cells throughout the world to work for theocracy, and recruits innocent Muslims at mosques.
Baha'i theocrats have secret cells within the Baha'i community, and recruit Baha'is at deepenings and other events into their twisted world-view. Many "Auxiliary Board Members" and Assistants are secret theocrats who play dirty tricks on ordinary Baha'is to force them out of the Faith.

The Ian Semple / Kazemzadeh theocratic ideology aims at destroying American democracy. It aims at gutting the Constitution and abolishing Congress in favor of Kazemzadeh's weird, secretive, authoritarian way of ruling.

5) Al-Qaida demands absolute obedience from its recruits, and no dissent is permitted.

Baha'i theocrats demand absolute obedience to "the Institutions" and tolerate no dissent. Kazemzadeh told a group of Baha'i intellectuals, "the word dissent implies separating oneself from the activities of the group and putting oneself outside the mainstream of the community, and that is contrary to Baha'i practice.

You can't disagree with the NSA.

The dangers to the pristine Baha'i faith, with its values of tolerance, allowing the expression of diverse points of view, and firm commitment to the separation of religion and state, of this theocratic cult that has taken control of the community cannot be overstated. Moreover, it is a threat to the whole world.

Now that we have seen where such authoritarian theocracy leads, on September 11, I call upon all Baha'is to step back, reread the scriptures, and adhere to the real values of our religion.

The BCCs or the Baha'i Children Classes are open to all the children. Children of all the religious backgrounds are invited to attend these classes. The Baha'is say they are conducting these type of classes for the betterment of Human Society, to inculcate moral and spiritual values in the children. To the non-Baha'is they say this is just a Moral Education Class, we don't teach Baha'i specific material to children as all the religions are one and are from the same source. We do not 'convert' or try to convert the innocent children to this faith. Here is an example of how the children are being lured and how the seed of Bahaism is being sowed into their 'clear' minds. The same type of classes were held in Egypt, Indonesia, Kurdistan, India and Iran when the Government authorities caught them 'red handed' and punished them for proselytizing.

Abdul Baha : Whatever Khayrullah taught is Correct!

Notwithstanding that Khayru'llah had repeatedly begged His Holiness Abbas Effendi before he went to visit him to send him a volume of the Holy Verses which had been revealed by the Supreme Pen so that he might compare them with his teachings, in order to guard against the incidence of error, and His Holiness Abbas Effendi had promised him this, yet he sent him nothing of what he had demanded. So Khayru'llah determined when he went to Akka to attain this supreme aim, to wit the acquisition of knowledge at first hand; and, whenever he foregathered with Abbas Effendi he used *to explain to him the teachings which he gave to the Americans, even translating lengthy sections thereof, and asking His Holiness to correct what was erroneous. But His Holiness confirmed them and praised them publicly before all the believers, both Easterns and Americans. He repeatedly declared explicitly to the American pilgrims that all which Khayru'llah had taught was correct; but whenever he had explained to the Americans any matter, and afterwards understood that his explanation was not in accordance with that given by Khayru'llah, be used to avoid disagreement saying that everything had two meanings one spiritual and the other material, and that the explanations given to them-by himself and by Khayru'llah were both correct.

Today’s House of Justice follows the same policy. They want to convey to the Bahai’s - Forget whatever Baha'u'llah, Abdul Baha and Shoghi have said. According to Baha'is, some of the titles of Baha'u'llah that can be considered as synonyms for the expression "Faithful and True" are: Bearer of the Trust of God, Fountain of the Root of Knowledge, Well Spring of Revelation, Bird of the Throne, Word of Truth, Sun of Truth, Day Star of Divine Revelation.

Faithful and True has a literal value of 1269 and an archetypal value of 9, the number of Baha'.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no man knew, but he himself !!!!

His eyes of flame (????) have been described in Chapter 1, verse 14. The many crowns He wears are His titles and His dominion over all the Divinely revealed Faiths. The name written that no man knew but He Himself refers to His name Baha' given Him by the Bab on the White Stone (????), Chapter 2, verse 17. The Covenant is always transmitted through the Ages by the White Stone. Although false prophets will always attempt to claim the White Stone as their own, only the True Prophet, the Manifestation of God, is capable of revealing its hidden contents and through the power of His Utterance prove that its concealed Name refers only to Himself.

فصل دوم- بررسي مضامين «لوح ابن الذّئب»:
معبود ظلوم و جهول بهائيان، ميرزا حسينعلي فرزند ميرزا عباس نوري كه وي را «بهاءالله» خوانده اند، در1233هـ.ق متولد و در1260هـ.ق پيرو ملا حسين بشرويه اي (از حروف حيّ مير علي محمد باب) گرديد و در فضاحت دشت بدشت شاهرود كه با ارتكاب فسق و فجورفراوان، نسخ شريعت اسلام را اعلام كردند (1264هـ.ق) حضور فعّال مؤثّري داشت. در واقعه ي تروريستي عليه ناصرالدين شاه (1268هـ.ق) ظاهراً و بنابه قول خواهرش عزّيه نوري در رساله ي تنبيه النائمين، نقش آمريّت داشت و در خيال سلطنت بود. لذا همراه ديگر بابيان پايتخت دستگير و زنداني گرديد و پس از چهار ماه، با وساطت سفير روسيه آزاد و تحت الحفظ به عراق تبعيد شد. وي در عراق ، ابتدا براي برادرش يحيي نوري تبليغ مي كرد و سپس خود را «من يظه ره الله» (موعود باب و جانشين وي) خواند و برادرش را انكار نمود و در نتيجه گروه تروريست بابيه به دو گروه متخاصم و خشن بهائي و ازلي منقسم شد.
تشنجات بين طرفين ، سرانجام دولت عثماني را واداشت كه وي را در1279هـ.ق به اسلامبول و پس از چهار ماه ، به اد رنه و پس از پنج سال، مجدداً به عكّا (فلسطين) تبعيد كند و در عكّا،مدتي در سربازخانه اي بيرون شهر زنداني و سپس به خانه ي مجللي(قصرالبهجه)منتقل شد كه خود،آن را سجن اعظم مي ناميد! ميرزاي مذكور در1309هـ.ق (1892م) مرد. زندگي پر ماجراي وي،حاكي از رياست طلبي و آشوب گري دامنه داري داشت. البته بنا به روايتي كه ادوارد براون در مقدمه ي نقطه الكاف از ديدار خود با او بازگو نموده، وي به دروغ منطقه ي سرسبز و خرّم عكّاء را «اخرب البلاد» مي خواند! و همواره بنا به همان رسمي كه يهوديان از آن بهره برده و با مظلوم نمايي علي رغم همه ي مظالم و خونريزي ها، براي خود مشروعيت عاطفي در افكار عمومي جهان ايجاد مي كردند تا دولت اشغال گر اسرائيل را تأسيس نمايند، حسينعلي نوري نيز همواره مظلوم نمايي و وانمود مي كرد كه تحت فشار و حبس و زجر بوده است. ولي در اصل وي ظلوم بود نه مظلوم، و جهول بود نه مجهول القدر.
بايد توجه داشت كه لوح ابن الذئب (دعوتنامه ي حسينعلي نوري به مرحوم آقا نجفي اصفهاني) در شرايطي نگاشته و ارسال شد (احتمالاً 1308 يا اوايل 1309هـ.ق) كه چند بابي ازلي به امر عالمي س د هي كشته شده بودند و آقا نجفي با پذيرش اتهام ، به تهران (1307هـ.ق) تبعيدگرديده بود. با توجه به مضامين ضد ازلي آن لوح، شايد وي مي خواست از اين فرصت،براي جذب ايشان به همكاري با امين السلطان و بهائيان استفاده كند. مخصوصاً كه دهه اول قرن14هجري، اوج فعاليت ضد شاه و قانون خواهي توسط مرحوم سيد جمال الدين اسد آبادي در اسلامبول و ميرزا ملكم خان (مؤسس فراموشخانه در ايران و ناشر روزنامه ي قانون) در لندن بود و در هر دو مورد، ازلي ها نفوذ و مداخله ي فراواني داشتند.
اين دعوت اگر مورد قبول آقا نجفي واقع مي شد، مي توانست كفه ي دربار و بهائيان را سنگين تر سازد و زمينه را براي نوعي رفورم ، با تأسيس و تقويت مجلس مشورتي درباري بدون انقلاب(در برابر مقام سلطنت) و البته با عضويت نفوذي هاي بهائي (كه شايد ميرزا علي اصغر خان امين السلطان هم جزء آن ها بود) فراهم مي نمود. اما در آن شرايط، آقا نجفي به امر مبارزه با امتياز انحصاري توتون و تنباكو/تالبوت اشتغال داشت (كه موجب تضعيف همزمان شاه و امين السلطان و بريتانيا و بهائيان مي گرديد) و حتي به گفته ي حامد الگار، ابتدا آقا نجفي تقاضاي صدور فتواي تحريم را به وسيله ي آقا منير الدين براي مرحوم ميرزاي شيرازي بزرگ به سامرا فرستاد و احتمالاً ايشان هم نخستين بار ابتدا فتوا را به اصفهان فرستاده بود كه در اواخر ربيع الثاني 1309هـ.ق (نوامبر1891م) صدور چنين فتوايي در اصفهان شايع شد و مدتي بعد نيز در تهران وصول گرديد.169پس در آن هنگام ،آقا نجفي به مبارزه عليه سلطه ي
اقتصادي - سياسي بريتانيا در ايران مشغول بود و به لوح مذكور اعتنايي نكرد.
حسينعلي نوري ،با پي بردن به اهميت علمي،ديني،اجتماعي و سياسي مرحوم آقا نجفي، عالم بزرگ اصفهان، براي او نامه ي مفصلي (در134صفحه رقعي) نگاشت كه در سال مرگش (1309هـ.ق-در حدود33 سال پيش از وفات آقا نجفي اصفهاني) به خط زين المقربين استنساخ و در 1338هـ.ق (1920م- مقارن كنفرانس صلح ورساي فرانسه) در مطبعه السعاده (مصر) چاپ و منتشر گرديد. به نظر مي رسد كه وي اين نامه را (كه با استكبار و جهالتي مثال زدني، آن را لوح خوانده است!) در اواخر عمرش و پس از گذراندن حبس در عكا نوشته است و اين از سياق جملات و افعال مربوط به آن دوره در همين رساله معلوم مي شود.170
وي نامه اش رابا جمله ي «بسم الله الفرد الواحد المقتدر العليم الحكيم» شروع و با عبارت «الحمد لله» ختم كرده است و اين تفاوت بسيار مهمي با قرآن كريم دارد كه در آيه ي ابتداي آن، دو صفت «رحمان» و «رحيم» كه مربوط به رابطه ي خدا و مخلوقاتش است و در آيه ي انتهاي آن، اسم مخاطبان مختار و داراي فعل ارادي، يعني «جن» و «ا نس» ذكر شده است و اين،حكيمانه ترين شكل سخن گفتن در يك كتاب آسماني خطاب به مكلّفان است. همان طور كه گفتيم در اين رساله، مخاطب آن يعني مرحوم آقا نجفي اصفهاني «ابن الذّئب» خوانده نشده است، بلكه علماي اصولي مخالف شيخيّه و بابيّه و بهائيه «ذئب» ناميده شده اند كه آقا نجفي و پدرش نيز در زمره ي همان علماء بودند. لذا به نظر مي رسد كه پس از وصول نامه به اصفهان و رد ّ قولي يا عملي آن توسط آقا نجفي، بهائيان و رؤسايشان وي را ابن الذئب و آن نامه را لوح ابن الذئب خواندند تا خود را تخليه ي رواني و عصبي نمايند.
اين رساله همانند بسياري ديگر از آثار باب و بهاء، مخلوطي از جملات عربي و فارسي است و بيشتر به نظر مي رسد كه وي مي خواهد بدون تصريح،خود را به عنوان پيامبري دانا و صاحب فضل بنماياند. با توجه به اين كه مخاطب وي ايراني و فارسي زبان بود، بنابر قاعده ي خداوند متعال نه تنها بايد آثار وي و علي محمد شيرازي به زبان فارسي نازل مي شد، بلكه بايد فارسي صحيح تر و دقيق تري مي بود تا مبناي تصحيح و قاعده مند سازي فارسي مغلق عصر قاجار گردد. زيرا هدف از فرستادن كتب آسماني، تبيين بهتر و واضح تر حقايق و معارف و احكام ، و رفع ابهام و اختلاف و انحراف در ذهن مخاطباني است كه به دين قبل از آن پاي بندند. در آيه ي چهارم از سوره ي مباركه ي ابراهيم (ع) مي فرمايد:«و هيچ رسولي را نفرستاديم مگر به زبان قومش، تا براي آن ها روشن كند، پس خداوند (بنا به گزينش و عكس العمل و رفتار مخاطبان و به عنوان نتيجه ي آن) هركه را بخواهد گمراه مي كند و هركه را بخواهد، هدايت مي كند و اوست عزيز (نفوذ ناپذير و دست نيافتني) و حكيم.» و در آيه بعد نيز هدف از رسالت حضرت موسي(ع) را بيرون بردن قومش از ظلمات به نور ذكر فرموده است.
همچنين در آيه ي 64 از سوره ي مباركه ي نحل مي فرمايد:«و (اين) كتاب را بر تو نازل نكرديم جز براي آنكه در آنچه كه اختلاف پيدا كرده اند، برايشان آن را تبيين و روشن كني و نيز (براي آنكه باشد) هدايت و رحمتي براي قومي كه ايمان مي آورند.» و در آيه ي 89از همان سوره فرموده:«...و بر تو (اين) كتاب را نازل كرديم كه تبياني (بيانگري) براي همه چيز و هدايت و رحمت و بشارتي براي مسلمانان است.»
پس كتب آسماني براي عموم مخاطبان، نقش روشنگري و رفع اختلاف و احياي معارف و احكام راستين، و براي مؤمنان (و نه كافران) مايه ي هدايت به نور و رحمت و بشارت به سعادت اخروي را دارد و اين امر مي تواندبه همان دو صفت رحمت عمومي و رحمت اختصاصي خداي متعال (رحمن و رحيم) برگردد كه در ابتداي قرآن كريم آمده است.
پس همين سياق رساله يا لوح ابن الذئب، به تنهايي بر كذب و دروغ گويي حسينعلي نوري و غير آسماني بودن گفته ها و نوشته ها و آئين وي دلالت مي كند. زيرا وي نه تنها روشنگري و رفع اختلاف نكرده، كه با آثاري پر از ابهام، بر اختلافات و ظلمات دامن زده است. مثلاً هنوز كسي از محققان نتوانسته و هيچ كس هم نمي تواند بر اساس آثار وي دقيقاً بگويد كه او خداست يا خداي پدر است يا قلم اعلي است يا مشيت نخستين است يا ظهور خداست يا من يظه ره الله است يا پيامبر است؟ ولي قطعاً مي توان اثبات كرد كه وي در ادعاهايش دروغ گو است.

Baha'i's cannot explain this issue. Not with even an iota of intellectual integrity at least, hence the avoidance.

Because it is much easier to side step this issue than to face up to the unavoidable conclusions that a person must draw when this issue is dealt with face on.

Because if this issue was not avoided then the issue of Abbas Effendi's ( Abdu'l-Baha's) and Mirz Husayn Ali's ( Baha'u'llah's) shunning of their own brothers and their brother's families would have to be examined in the light of reason as well.

This in the face of the fact that Mirza Husayn Ali supposedly had:
"nullified and abolished" the practice of shunning: Whatsoever hath led the children of men to shun one another, and hath caused dissensions and divisions amongst them, hath, through the revelation of these words, been nullified and abolished.
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 95)

When these facts are examined in the light of reason, when these facts are examined using intellectual integrity it becomes very apparent that Mirza Husayn Ali, Abbas Effendi, as well as Shoghi Effendi were all quite obviously hypocrites; hypocrites who clearly did not practice what they preached; hypocrites who were only mummers of the teaching of the oneness of humanity; hypocrites who practiced it's opposite: the division of humanity, even amongst their own family members.

So much for the efficacy of the Baha'i faith to unify humanity.

So, what exactly is the Club of Rome and who are its members? Founded in 1968 at David Rockefeller’s estate in Bellagio, Italy, the CoR describes itself as "a group of world citizens, sharing a common concern for the future of humanity." It consists of current and former Heads of State, UN beaureacrats, high-level politicians and government officials, diplomats, scientists, economists, and business leaders from around the globe.

The Club of Rome subsequently founded two sibling organizations, the Club of Budapest and the Club of Madrid. The former is focused on social and cultural aspects of their agenda, while the latter concentrates on the political aspects. All three of these 'Clubs' share many common members and hold joint meetings and conferences. As explained in other articles on this website it is abundantly clear that these are three heads of the same beast. The CoR has also established a network of 33 National Associations. Membership of the 'main Club' is limited to 100 individuals at any one time. Some members, like Al Gore and Maurice Strong, are affiliated through their respective National Associations (e.g. USACOR, CACOR etc).

I would like to start this analysis of the Club of Rome by listing some prominent members of the CoR and its two sub-groups, the Clubs of Budapest and Madrid. Personally it isn’t what the CoR is that I find so astonishing; it is WHO the CoR is! This isn’t some quirky little group of green activists or obscure politicians. They are the most senior officials in the United Nations, current and ex-world leaders, and the founders of some of the most influential environmental organisations. Pilgrimage is a privilege and an obligation in the Bahá'í Faith for those who can afford it. It is enjoined by Bahá'u'lláh in his most important work, the Kitáb-i-Aqdas (Most Holy Book), his Book of Laws. There are three places to which pilgrimage is binding. The first of these is the former residence of the Báb (1819-1850), the prophet-founder of the Bábí religion, in Shiraz, Iran. The Báb was the forerunner of Bahá'u'lláh, and the Bábí and Bahá'í religions are intimately related. The Báb's residence was demolished during the Islamic Revolution in Iran and has not yet been rebuilt. The second place of pilgrimage is the former residence of Bahá'u'lláh during his banishment and exile in Baghdad. Pilgrimages to Shiraz and Baghdad have been suspended due to conditions unfavorable to Bahá'ís in those lands. The third place of obligatory pilgrimage is the Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh at Bahjí, Israel.


The Gate of Shiraz

Baha'u'llah ordains that when a person approaches one of the Twin Cities (Baghdad or Shiraz) for the purpose of offering Obligatory Pilgrimage (hajj), to dismount as soon as the horizon of the city is visible, to cleanse himself, attire in his best clothing, using his finest perfume and then standing and facing the City to offer a specifically-revealed prayer of thanksgiving. The pilgrim is then to walk all the way to the city-gate. On reaching the gate, to pause, and gazing at the City walls, houses, trees, birds, and so forth, offer yet another specifically revealed prayer by addressing these things as to how fortunate indeed they were that at one time the eye of the Manifestation gazed upon them. He is then to continue walking all the way to the House. In the case of the House of the Bab in Shiraz, He instructs the pilgrim to approach (walking) the House in reverence and prayful attitude, then upon reaching the House to prostrate himself, kiss the ground, put his face (right hand side) on the ground and then to sit crossed-legged and offer a specially revealed prayer. Having never entered the House (its too Sacred for mere mortals to enter!), the pilgrim is to walk back and away from the House and to leave the area, thus concluding his Obligatory Pilgrimage.

So, this entire hajj journey consists of walking and praying.

If you’re a fan of Wikipedia (or any of their many other projects) then you’ll be interested to know that this year’s official Wikimedia conference, dubbed “Wikimania“, is being held in Haifa, Israel right around the corner from the Baha’i gardens! From their website:

Wikimania is the annual international conference of the Wikimedia community. It’s organized by a different local team each year – in 2011 the conference is taking place in Haifa, Israel. Wikimania allows the community and the general public to learn about and share their experiences with free knowledge initiatives all over the world.

You can even see the Shrine of the Bab in their little logo/silhouette of Haifa. Pretty neat!

Wikipedia is such a world-affirming example of what people can achieve together. Back in the 1950s the world famous science fiction writer Isaac Asimov wrote the Foundation series of books. The premise of the books was that a whole planet was dedicated to creating an encyclopedia of all human knowledge and that it was a project that would take centuries and centuries. Reading it today of course you can’t help think that we seem to be well on our way to such an outcome!

This ironic title above refers to the incestuous relationship that has recently been established between two major bodies of the Baha’i Administrative Order (BAO) : The Universal House of Justice (UHJ) and the International Teaching Center (ITC). The former is the supreme governing body of the BAO, while the latter’s membership is appointed by the UHJ. The bureaucratic nature of this system is illustrated by the “alphabet soup” I used here, much like that of American governmental institutions. Note also that the buildings of the Baha’i World Center look a lot like the governmental buildings in Washington, D. C. Would you call this spiritual?

When the UHJ was first established in 1963, its membership included former members of the International Baha’i Council (these had been appointed by Shoghi Effendi) and members of various National Spiritual Assemblies. Later, the UHJ established the ITC, intended to take the place of the dwindling Hands of the Cause of God. Over several decades, however, more and more members of the UHJ have tended to come from the ITC, until today, ALL the UHJ members were elected from the ITC’s membership, which was appointed by the UHJ previously. This is known as a “feedback loop”. The result is a system that is by nature extremely conservative and not open to new ideas that could allow it to adapt to changing circumstances.

This is truly no better than the Roman Catholic Church, in which the Popes are elected by the College of Cardinals, and these Cardinals are themselves appointed by the previous Popes!

This time the Haifan Baha'i Supreme Body is officially interfering in the internal affairs of another country. This time under the pretext of supporting Human Rights. Although it is a known fact that the reason for supporting is something else. It seems that the BIC is under severe pressure from its Big Bosses. If the BIC is really truthful in its claims of supporting Human Rights, then why shout only on one country and ignore the other. There are so many atrocities being committed in and by the Zionist State of Israel against the Christians and Moslems but not even once the Haifan Supreme AO issued statements condemning these acts of violence and killing. So many Palestinians are being killed, their lands being occupied, so many acts of violence are being committed against the minority christian community in Israel. آیا بهائیان فرقه‌ای از دگراندیشان دینی هستند که به دلیل عقاید خود، که مغایر با عقاید غالب دینی مردم است، در طول موجودیت خویش از سوی جامعه ایرانی و حکومت‌های وقت (قاجاریه، پهلوی و جمهوری اسلامی) بناحق مورد آزارهای شدید قرار گرفته‌اند و ایرانیان باید از این بابت شرمسار باشند؟ این روزها مسائلی اینگونه شنیده می‌شود؛ مسائلی که، اگر خوش‌بین باشیم، بیانگر بیگانگی مطرح کنندگان آن با واقعیت‌های تاریخ معاصر است و اگر به گونه دیگر بیندیشیم، بیانگر تشدید فعالیت کانون‌هایی که سال‌هاست می‌کوشند «مسئله بهائیت» را بعنوان «کیس حقوق بشر» علیه ایران زنده نگه دارند. این زمزمه‌ها فراتر رفته و مسئله بهائیت بگونه‌ای عنوان می‌شود که گویی ایرانیان باید بابت کردار نه تنها خود بلکه «پدران‌شان» در قبال بهائیان نیز «خسارت» پرداخت کنند. گویی ما با پدیده‌ای بنام «هولوکاست بهائیان» مواجه بوده‌ایم و اینک باید بابت این «نسل‌کشی» از کردارمان «توبه» و خویشتن را مجازات کنیم.

1- بهائی‌گری تداوم بابی‌گری است که با دعاوی علی‌محمد شیرازی (1235-1266 ق./ 1819-1850 م.)، معروف به «باب»، و در ابتدا در تداوم عقاید شیخیان، آغاز شد. علی محمد شیرازی در شب جمعه 5 جمادی‌الاول 1260/ 23 مه 1844 دعوی بابیت کرد، که این زمان بعنوان مبداء تاریخ بابیان موسوم به «تاریخ بدیع» شمرده می‌شود، و در 27 شعبان 1266/ 9 ژوئیه 1850 به قتل رسید. او ابتدا خود را «باب امام زمان» (عج) خواند، سپس خود امام زمان و سرانجام مدعی نسخ اسلام و نزول دینی جدید شد. از اینرو، مسلمانان، حتی اهل تسنن، بهائیان را جزو فرق اسلامی بشمار نمی‌آورند و لذا در اوّلین پژوهش جامع آماری مسلمانان ایالات متحده آمریکا، که از سوی دانشگاه شاو (ایالت کارولینای شمالی) انجام گرفت، بهائیان را، به سان قادیانی‌ها و اعضای «حزب ملّت اسلام» لوئیس فراخان، جزو مسلمانان نشمردند. 2- درباره منشاء و خاستگاه بابی‌گری نظرات یکسان نیست. برخی، مانند سید احمد کسروی و فریدون آدمیت و احسان طبری و محمدرضا فشاهی، بابی‌گری را جنبشی اجتماعی علیه ستم دوران قاجاریه فرض کرده‌اند بی آن که در زمینه بابی‌گری اوّلیه کاوشی جامع عرضه کنند. معهذا، همینان نیز گاه به پیوندهای خارجی بابی‌گری اشاراتی کرده‌اند. نگارنده در تک نگاری «خاندان باب» (1389) نقش تعیین‌کننده تجارتخانه دایی‌های علی‌محمد شیرازی و شرکای ایشان در ظهور بابی‌گری و پیوندهای این خاندان با کمپانی‌های جهان‌وطن فعال در تجارت جهانی تریاک نیمه اوّل سده نوزدهم، بویژه کمپانی ساسون مستقر در بمبئی، را نشان داده، [+] در رساله «جستارهایی از تاریخ بهائی‌گری در ایران» (1382) از نقش شبکه‌ای فعال و گسترده از یهودیان مخفی مستقر در ایران، بوِیژه در شهرهایی چون مشهد و شیراز و کاشان و همدان و اصفهان، در پیدایش و گسترش بابی‌گری و بهائی‌گری سخن گفته، [+] در رساله «سِر اردشیر ریپورتر، سرویس اطلاعاتی بریتانیا و ایران» تلاش‌های اردشیرجی و ارباب جمشید جمشیدیان برای گروش زرتشتیان ایران به بهائی‌گری را بیان کرده، [+] و در کتاب «نظریه توطئه و فقر روش‌شناسی در تاریخنگاری ایران» از حمایت‌های گسترده «انجمن جهانی تئوسوفی» از بهائی‌گری و سفر تبلیغاتی سال‌های 1911-1913 عبدالبهاء به اروپا و آمریکا سخن گفته است. [+]

3- بسیاری از مورخین در این تردید ندارند که بابی‌گری با حمایت کانون‌هایی در درون حکومت قاجاریه امکان نشوونما یافت و اگر این حمایت‌ها نبود باب هیچگاه شهرتی نمی‌یافت و مانند دعاوی مشابه در جهان اسلام به زودی فراموش می‌شد. مورخین حاج میرزا آقاسی ایروانی، صدراعظم محمد شاه قاجار، را مسبب اصلی گسترش بابی‌گری می‌دانند. [*] هما ناطق، که خود به ازلی‌گری تعلقاتی دارد، می‌نویسد:

«باب مریدان نخستین خود را نه در میان "جهال" بلکه در "طبقات بالای کشور" یافت... از میان شاهزادگان هم ملک قاسم میرزا، کامران میرزا و فرهاد میرزا معتمدالدوله روی خوش نمودند. حاج میرزا آقاسی که جای خود داشت. باب از او به ستایش یاد می ‏کند و می ‏نویسد "بدیهی است حاجی به حقیقت آگاه است." و می‏ دانیم که در بیان او واژه حقیقت همانا آگاهی به اسرار نهان است که شیخیه عنوان کردند و باب در ربط با معتمدالدوله هم به کار می ‏برد.» (ایران در راهیابی فرهنگی، چاپ اوّل، لندن، 1988، ص 65)

و عبدالحسین آیتی، مبلغ پیشین و سرشناس بهائی و نویسنده کتاب مهم دو جلدی «الکواکب الدریه فی مآثر البهائیه» (قاهره: مطبعة السعادة، 1342 ق./ 1923-1924 م.)، که هنوز از منابع معتبر بهائیان بشمار می‌رود، پس از بازگشت به اسلام در خاطراتش این مسئله را چنین بیان کرده است:

«در ابتدای پیدایش باب دو تن از دولتیان سوء سیاستی بروز دادند که هر یک از جهتی خسارت کلی به این ملت وارد کرد و قضیه باب را کاملاً به موقع اهمیت گذاشتند: اوّل، حاجی میرزا آقاسی به‌صورت مخالف؛ دوّم، منوچهر خان معتمدالدوله به‌صورت موافقت... شبهه[ای] نیست که اگر از طرف حاجی میرزا آقاسی سختی و فشار و نفی بر باب و حبس وارد نشده بود و بالعکس از طرف معتمدالدوله (منوچهر خان خواجه) حاکم اصفهان پذیرایی و نگهداری به عمل نیامده بود و قضیه باب به خونسردی تلقی شده بود، تا این درجه خسارت به مال و جان و حیثیات مدنی و ملّی ایران وارد نمی‌شد.»

آیتی این اقدامات را نتیجه سیاست خارجی قدرت‌های بزرگ می‌داند و می‌نویسد:‌

«خلاصه این که برای این مسائل به عوامل خارجی معتقد شده، آن را نتیجه یک نوع سیاست‌هایی شناخته‌ام که در دوره قاجاریه در ایران شایع شده بوده است.» (عبدالحسین آیتی، کشف الحیل، چاپ ششم، 1326، ج 2، صص 54-55)

4- شورش‌های بابیان اوّلیه در نخستین سال سلطنت ناصرالدین شاه و صدارت میرزا تقی خان امیرکبیر، خوش‌نام‌ترین وزیر تاریخ معاصر ایران، در کنار شورش‌های بزرگ و کوچک محلی که اندکی پیش یا پس از مرگ محمد شاه (6 شوال 1264/ 4 سپتامبر 1848) سراسر ایران را فراگرفت، و بزرگترین‌شان شورش محمدحسن خان سالار در خراسان بود، بخشی از سناریوی ایجاد آشوب در ایران با هدف متزلزل کردن حکومت مرکزی بود. امیرکبیر با تدبیر یا سرکوب قاطع این شورش‌ها را مهار و خاموش کرد. فریدون آدمیت، که در میان محققین فوق در زمینه بابی‌گری صاحبنظرترین است، سرکوب قاطع شورش‌ بابیان را از افتخارات کارنامه امیر می‌داند. این فتنه با درایت و قاطعیت امیرکبیر فرونشانده شد و به تبع آن در 27 شعبان 1277 علی‌محمد باب نیز، به دستور امیر، در میدان ارگ تبریز تیرباران شد.

فریدون آدمیت بر قساوت شورشیان بابی تأکید می‌کند و می‌نویسد که «اسیران جنگی را دست و پا می‌بریدند و به آتش می‌سوختند.» (امیرکبیر و ایران، چاپ جدید، خوارزمی، 1378، ص 448)

«کتاب بیان را سید باب آورد، ولی رشته کار از دست خودش خارج گشت و به دست سه تن از پیروان او افتاد که سخت متعصب و ستیزه جو بودند: ملا حسین بشرویه‌ای که نخست شیخی بود و حالا "باب الباب" لقب داشت. دیگر، ملا محمدعلی بارفروشی معروف به "قدوس" و سومی ملا محمدعلی زنجانی ملقب به "حجت" بود. آن سه نفر علم طغیان را علیه حکومت برافراشتند تا دولت موجود را براندازند و با تأسیس سلطنت بابی در ایران مقدمه فتح کره ارض را فراهم آورند و آئین جدید را جایگزین همه ادیان گذشته و همه نظام‌های سیاسی جهان فرمایند، و بشریت را بر تخت سعادت سرمدی نشانند. حتی به موجب سند رسمی که خواهیم آورد، جناب "حجت" سلطان آینده مصر و برخی شهرهای جهان را از میان اصحاب خود برگزیده بود. آن ادعاها شیادی محض بود.» (امیرکبیر و ایران، صص 444-445)

آدمیت می‌افزاید:

«حتی در صمیمیت بزرگان اوّلیه بابیه هم تردید است... ملا محمدعلی زنجانی، یعنی جناب "حجت" که دعوی فتح کره زمین را داشت، و معتقد بود که تاجداران جهان باید فرمان وی را به گردن نهند، و حتی حکومت مصر را به دست یکی از اولیای مقدس سپرده بود، چطور شد که به اصحابش وعده داد که امپراطور روس، که در زمره شاهان کافر بود، به یاری آنان خواهد آمد؟ و آن بیچارگان ابله هم باور فرموده بودند.» (امیرکبیر و ایران، ص 450)

آیا ایرانیان به خاطر کردار امیرکبیر، که او را کاردان‌ترین و مدیرترین وزیر دو سده اخیر خود می‌شناسند، باید از اعقاب بابیان شورشی پوزش بخواهند، «پریشان موی و پیاده پای» به درگاه ایشان روند، بر امیر نفرین کنند و نقش بابیان را در سلب امنیت از ایران و ایرانی و دریدن و سوزانیدن اجساد «پدران‌مان» بستایند و غرامتی نیز بپردازند؟

5- پس از سرکوب فتنه باب با درایت و قاطعیت امیر، بابیان به یک فرقه مخفی تروریستی بدل شدند و نام خود را بعنوان «بنیانگذاران تروریسم جدید» در تاریخ ایران ثبت کردند. نقشه ترور شاه و امیرکبیر و امام جمعه از توطئه‌هایی بود که کشف شد و هفت ماه پس از شهادت امیرکبیر در حمام باغ فین کاشان (17 ذبیع الاول 1268 ق.) و پس از ترور نافرجام ناصرالدین شاه توسط یک بابی بنام صادق تبریزی (28 شوال 1268 ق.) به دستگیری وسیع توطئه‌گران و قتل تعدادی از ایشان انجامید. این موج تروریستی در زمان آغاز اختلافات ایران و حکومت هند بریتانیا بر سر هرات آغاز شد. هرات آن زمان جزو ایران بود و حمایت استعمار بریتانیا از جدایی هرات به تهدید انگلیس به اشغال جزیره خارک (محرم 1269 ق.)، تصرف هرات توسط قشون ایران، تهاجم نظامی بریتانیا به ایران و اشغال خارک و بوشهر و جنگ خونین محمره (خرمشهر) در سال 1273 ق./ 1857 م. انجامید.

مورخین متفق‌القولند که سفارت روسیه نهایت حمایت را از تروریست‌های بابی کردند و نفر اوّل این شبکه تروریستی، میرزا حسینعلی نوری، را از زندان نجات داد. در زمان وقوع ترور، میرزا حسینعلی نوری در لواسان نزد میرزا آقاخان نوری صدراعظم، عامل سرشناس استعمار بریتانیا، میهمان بود. او پس از چهار ماه زندان با فشار سفارتخانه‌های قدرت‌های بزرگ غربی و کمک میرزا آقاخان نوری صدراعظم در صفر 1269 ق. آزاد و یک ماه بعد به بغداد تبعید شد. این میرزا حسینعلی، که از اهالی روستای تاکر نور بود، پس از ورود به بغداد قریب به دو سال نیز به شکلی مرموز، ظاهراً در سلیمانیه کردستان و در میان دراویش نقشبندی و با نام «درویش محمد ایرانی»، زندگی ‌کرد. گویا علت این سفر دو ساله و مرموز مغضوب شدن از سوی صبح ازل بوده است. میرزا حسینعلی بعدها در ادرنه، برغم برادرش میرزا یحیی صبح ازل، رهبر وقت بابیه، فرقه بهائی را بنیان نهاد.

آیا باید خاک بر سر ریخت و «پریشان موی و پیاده پای» به درگاه بازماندگان میرزا حسینعلی نوری رفت و به دلیل چهار ماه حبس و رانده شدنش از ایران گریست، از جفایی که بر او شده عذر خواست و بابت این «رفتار پدران‌مان» غرامت پرداخت؟

6- فعالیت‌های فرقه تروریستی بابی ادامه یافت. «رساله استنطاقیه» مشروح بازجویی‌های تروریست‌های بابی دستگیرشده در سال 1300 ق. است که زیر نظر کامران میرزا، وزیر جنگ و حاکم تهران، استنطاق شدند. در این رساله فقراتی وجود دارد که بر پیوند برخی دستگیرشدگان، مانند میرزا ابوالفضل گلپایگانی، با مانکجی هاتریا، افسر ارتش حکومت هند بریتانیا و مسئول شبکه‌های اطلاعاتی حکومت هند بریتانیا که در کسوت «عمدةالتجار» در تهران می‌زیست، دلالت دارد و نیز بر نقش خاندان قوام شیرازی در این ماجرا. یکی از دستگیرشدگان ابراهیم خان شیرازی، پسر میرزا ابوالحسن خان ایلچی (خواهرزاده و داماد ابراهیم خان کلانتر، نیای خاندان قوام شیرازی)، است که مانند گلپایگانی با مانکجی ارتباط داشت. فرد دیگر، ملا علی‌اکبر شهمیرزادی، معروف به «حاجی آخوند»، است که بعدها به گوبینو و نیکلای فرانسوی در تحقیقاتش درباره بابی‌گری کمک کرد و سپس یکی از «ایادی اربعه» عباس افندی (عبدالبهاء) شد و نوه‌اش سپهبد عبدالکریم ایادی پزشک مخصوص شاه و از متنفذترین مقامات دوران پهلوی دوّم بود. میزان اقتدار و فساد مالی و اخلاقی سپهبد ایادی را ارتشبد حسین فردوست، دوست دوران کودکی و رئیس «دفتر ویژه اطلاعات» شاه، در خاطراتش بیان کرده است. فردوست می‌نویسد:

«اگر پرونده‌های موجود ارتش و نیروهای انتظامی و سازمان‌های دولتی بررسی شود موارد مستندی مشاهده می‌گردد که به نظر افسانه می‌رسد و بر این اساس می‌توان کتابی نوشت که: آیا ایادی بهائی بر ایران سلطنت می‌کرد یا محمدرضا پهلوی؟! تمام ایرانیان ردة بالا، چه در ایران باشند و چه در خارج، خواهند پذیرفت که سلطان واقعی ایران ایادی بود؛ حقیقتی که پیش از انقلاب جرئت بیان آن را نداشتند.» (خاطرات ارتشبد سابق حسین فردوست، ویراسته عبدالله شهبازی، ص 202)

آیا باید «پریشان موی و پیاده پای» به آمریکا سفر کرد، اعقاب ملا علی‌اکبر شهمیرزادی را یافت، از فرزندان منیره خانم ایادی و شوهرش (میرزا محمدتقی ابن ابهر) و سرتیپ عبدالرحیم ایادی و سپهبد عبدالکریم ایادی و سایر بازماندگان این «خاندان جلیل» پوزش خواست به خاطر ستمی که کامران میرزا بر نیای‌شان روا داشته، و از بیت‌المال به ایشان غرامت پرداخت؟

7- دوران دعوی میرزا حسینعلی نوری و ستیز او با برادرش، میرزا یحیی صبح ازل، بر سر زعامت بابیان، که به پیدایش دو فرقه ازلی و بهائی انجامید، دورانی خونین از تصفیه‌های «درون سازمانی» است که جنایات فرقه رجوی در مقابل آن ناچیز جلوه می‌کند. این کشتارهای درون فرقه‌ای پس از آن نیز ادامه داشته است. در این زمینه می‌توان «مثنوی هفتاد من» نوشت لیکن به شرح زیر بسنده می‌کنم:

پس از دوازده سال اقامت در بغداد، به علت اعتراض دولت ایران و علمای عتبات، دولت عثمانی در سال 1280 ق. بابیان را به استانبول و سپس به ادرنه منتقل کرد. در دوران اقامت پنج ساله در ادرنه میرزا حسینعلی نوری دعوی خود را آشکار کرد و میان دو برادر جنگ درگرفت. این امر سبب شد در 5 ربیع‌الثانی 1285 ق. دولت عثمانی میرزا یحیی را با 37 تن از پیروانش به شهر ماغوسا (فاماگوستا) در جزیره قبرس و میرزا حسینعلی و 73 تن از اعوانش را به عکا تبعید کند. آن زمان، قبرس و عکا در قلمرو عثمانی بود.

در این سال‌ها، میرزا حسینعلی نوری از طریق تروریست‌های خود به کشتار پیروان برادرش، میرزا یحیی صبح ازل، مشغول بود و نیز قتل کسانی که از اسرار بابی‌گری اوّلیه مطلع بودند همچون میرزا اسدالله دیان باجناق باب. میرزا اسدالله عبری دان بود و این امر در ایران آن روز، نیمه اوّل سده نوزدهم میلادی، قرینه‌ای است جدّی بر یهودی بودن او. میرزا اسدالله کاتب «بیان»، کتاب مقدس بابیان، است و جزو «حروف حی» و آشنا با بسیاری از اسرار «ظهور باب». میرزا آقاخان کرمانی، که خود بابی بود و داماد صبح ازل، می‌نویسد: میرزا حسینعلی چون میرزا اسدالله دیان را «مخل خود یافت،‌ میرزا محمد مازندرانی پیشخدمت خود را فرستاده او را مقتول ساخت.» (میرزا آقاخان کرمانی، رساله هشت بهشت، صص 283، 302-303) میرزا آقاخان کرمانی شرحی مفصل از مقتولین عملیات تروریستی میرزا حسینعلی نوری بیان کرده است. در بغداد آقا رجبعلی قهیر و برادرش آقا علی‌محمد و حاجی میرزا احمد کاتب و حاجی میرزا محمدرضا و میرزا بزرگ کرمانشاهی را به قتل رساندند و حتی کوشیدند از طریق غذای مسموم صبح ‌ازل را بکشند و سپس از طریق دلاک صبح ازل قصد قتل او را داشتند. در ادرنه، قبل از حرکت به عکا، میرزا نصرالله را با سم کشتند و «در عکا نیز چند نفر از اصحاب خود را فرستاد آن سه نفر را [حاجی سید محمد و آقا جان بیگ و میرزا رضاقلی تفرشی] در خانه نزدیک قشله که منزل داشتند شهید کردند و قاتلین اینان عبدالکریم شمر و حسین آب‌کش و محمد جواد قزوینی.» در ایران نیز اصحاب حسینعلی بهاء موجی از وحشت و ترور آفریدند و به قتل متنفذین ازلی دست زدند:

«آقا عبدالاحد و آقا محمدعلی اصفهانی و حاجی آقا تبریزی و پسر حاجی فتاح، هر یک را به‌طوری جداگانه در صدد قتل برآمدند و بعضی فرار کردند. از آنجمله خیاط‌باشی و حاجی ابراهیم خان را در خانه گندم‌فروشی کشتند و جسم آنان را با آهک در زیر خاک گذارده، روی آن‌ها را با گچ سکو بستند... و همچنین حاجی جعفر را، که مبلغ هزار و دویست لیره از میرزا [حسینعلی بهاء] طلبکار بود و به مطالبه پول خود در عکا قدری تندی نمود و دزدی‌های حضرات را حس کرده، میرزا آقا جان کچل قزوینی را تشویق کردند که آن پیرمرد را شبانه کشته، از طبقه فوقانی کاروانسرا به زیر انداختند و گفتند خودش پرت شده... همچنین هر یک از اصحاب اقدمین، که از فضاحت و شناعت کارهای میرزا مطلع بودند و فریب او را نخوردند، فرستاد در هر نقطه شهید نمودند. مثلا، جناب آقا سید علی عرب را، که از حروف حی نخستین بود، در تبریز، میرزا مصطفی نراقی و شیخ خراسانی شهید کردند. و میرزا بزرگ کرمانشاهی را، که از اجله سادات بود، و جناب آقا رجبعلی قهیر را، که او نیز از حروف و ادله بود، ناصر عرب در کربلا به درجه شهادت رسانید و برادرش آقا علی‌محمد را در بغداد عبدالکریم شمر کشت. هر یک از اصحاب خودش را نیز که از فسق و فجور و باطن کار وی خبردار شدند در عکا یا نقطه دیگر تمام کردند. مانند حاجی آقا تبریزی. حتی آقا محمدعلی اصفهانی را، که در اسلامبول تجارت می‌نمود و مدتی فریب او را خورده بود،... میرزا ابوالقاسم دزد بختیاری را مخصوص از عکا مأمور نمود که برود در اسلامبول آن جرثوم غفلت را... فصد نماید...» (رساله هشت بهشت، صص 304-309)

ادوارد براون، ایران شناس نامدار و استاد کمبریج، به تفصیل در کتب مختلف خود به اقدامات تروریستی بهاء پرداخته است. بنوشته او، فردی به‌نام نصیر بغدادی معروف به مشهدی عباس، ساکن بیروت، آدمکش حرفه‌ای و مزدور میرزا حسینعلی بهاء و عباس افندی بود و به‌دستور ایشان چند نفر را کشت از جمله ملا رجبعلی قهیر، از خویشان نزدیک سببی علی‌محمد باب، را که از برخی اسرار پیدایش بابی‌گری مطلع بود. براون، همچنین، به فعالیت‌های تبلیغی سه بابی ازلی در عکا اشاره می‌کند و می‌نویسد بهائیان عکا تصمیم گرفتند ایشان را از میان بردارند. آنان ابتدا خواستند این مأموریت را به نصیر بغدادی محول کنند ولی بعد منصرف شدند زیرا احضار نصیر از بیروت ممکن بود راز قتل را آشکار کند. لذا، در 12 ذیقعده 1288 ق. هفت نفر از بهائیان به خانه افراد فوق در عکا ریختند و سید محمد اصفهانی و آقا جان کج‌کلاه و میرزا رضاقلی تفرشی را کشتند. حکومت عکا بهاء و پسرانش، عباس و محمدعلی افندی، و میرزا محمدقلی، برادر بهاء، و تمامی بهائیان عکا، از جمله قاتلین، را دستگیر کرد. بهاء و پسران و خویشانش شش روز زندانی بودند، سپس قاتلین شناخته شده و در دادگاه به حبس‌های طولانی (7 و 15 سال) محکوم شدند.

به‌نوشته میرزا آقاخان کرمانی، پس از فوت میرزا حسینعلی بهاء نیز این رویه ادامه یافت. اولین قربانی میرزا محمد نبیل زرندی بود که خیال داشت خود را جانشین بهاء بخواند. «پسران خدا [حسینعلی بهاء] خبردار شده، دو نفر را فرستاده،‌ آن لنگ بیچاره را خفه کرده، بردند به دریا انداختند.» (رساله هشت بهشت، ص 310)

از این داستان‌ها فراوان است و حتی عزیه خانم، خواهر صبح ازل و میرزا حسینعلی بهاء، نیز در نامه معروف به برادرزاده‌اش عباس افندی (عبدالبهاء) بر آن صحه گذارده. عزیه خانم می‌نویسد:

«رابعاً، جمع آوردن بعضی از قلاش و اوباش‌های ولایات ایران را که در هیچ زمان به هیچ پیغمبری ایمان نیاورده و جز آدمکشی کاری نیافته و غیر از مال مردم بردن شغلی نشناخته. با آن ادعای حسینی کردن... این اشرار را به دور خود جمع نمودند که از هر نفسی نفسی برآمد قطع کردند و از هر حلقی حرفی بیرون آمد بریدند. از اصحاب طبقه اوّل که اسامی ایشان مذکور شد، از خوف آن خونخواران به عزم زیارت اعتاب شریفه به کربلا و نجف هزیمت نمودند. سید اسماعیل اصفهانی را سر بریدند و حاجی میرزا احمد کاشی را شکم دریدند. ابوالقاسم کاشی را کشته در شط انداختند. سید احمد را به پیشدو [پیشتو، اسلحه کمری] کارش را ساختند. میرزا رضا را به سنگ مغزش پراکندند. میرزا علی را پهلویش دریدند و بعضی را روز روشن در میان بازار حراج پاره پاره کردند. چنانکه بعضی اصحاب را این حرکات ناسخ اعتقاد گردید تا سید عبادوز از دین بیان عدول نموده این بیت را انشا نمود که: اگر حسینعلی مظهر حسین علی است/ هزار رحمت حق بر روان پاک یزید.» (حواشی عبدالحسین نوائی بر: اعتضادالسلطنه، فتنه باب، چاپ جدید، نشر علم، 1377، صص 167-168)

و نیز عزیه خانم در نامه فوق به عباس افندی فاش می‌کند که میرزا حسینعلی نوری دخترش، سلطان خانم (خواهر عباس افندی)، را آرایش کرد و برای تمتع جنسی نزد میرزا یحیی فرستاد و صبح ازل از پذیرش برادرزاده‌اش استنکاف کرد و گفت: «سلطان خانم فرزند من است، با اطفال من هیچ تفاوتی ندارد، البته او را برگردانید زیرا که الی اکنون آن حکم جاری نشده است.» (حواشی عبدالحسین نوائی بر فتنه باب، صص 169-170)

این بار باید ازلیان خاک به سر ریزان و «پریشان موی و پیاده پای» بابت مقتول شدن نیاکان خود به دست بهائیان از ایشان پوزش خواهند و غرامت نیز بپردازند.

8- اقدامات تروریستی بهائیان در دوران مشروطه تداوم یافت. از تفصیل پرهیز می‌کنم و مشهورترین نمونه را مثال می‌زنم؛ اعزام دو تروریست طلبه به عتبات برای قتل آخوند ملا محمدکاظم خراسانی، مرجع بزرگ تشیع و رهبر انقلاب مشروطیت. یکی از این دو، شیخ اسدالله بارفروشی (بابلی) است که بعدها با نام «فاضل مازندرانی» شهرت یافت و کتاب مفصل هشت جلدی «تاریخ ظهورالحق» را نگاشت. دستگاه امنیتی عثمانی این دو را دستگیر کرد. بازجویی‌ها و اسناد این ماجرا در آرشیوهای ترکیه موجود است و یکی از محققین ایرانی از آن تصویربرداری کرده. امید که به همت ایشان تک نگاری مستندی در این زمینه منتشر شود.

9- گفتنی‌ها بسیار است. سال‌ها پیش به تفصیل از شبکه تروریستی بهائیان موسوم به «کمیته مجازات» سخن گفته‎ام [+] و نیز از نقش جاسوسی و خرابکارانه شبکه مخفی بهائیان وابسته به سرویس اطلاعاتی بریتانیا در نهضت جنگل. و در این بررسی بود که نام‌های کسانی چون غلامحسین ابتهاج (برادر ابوالحسن ابتهاج)، میرزا رضا خان افشار، عبدالحسین نعیمی (پدرزن سپهبد پرویز خسروانی)، سردار محیی (برادر میرزا کریم خان رشتی)، رضا سرخوش و دیگران را بیان کردم. [+] این مباحث را تکرار نمی‌کنم. علاقمندان می‌توانند به مقاله فوق مراجعه کنند. اینجا فقط بار دیگر یادآوری می‌کنم گزارش خواندنی مأمور اطلاعاتی اعزامی حزب بلشویک روسیه به جنگل را در توصیف شخصیت احسان‌الله خان دوستدار:

«احسان‌الله خان...‌ دارای‌ شخصیت‌ ضعیف‌، خودخواه‌، دارای‌ نظرات‌ اغراق آمیز و آدمی‌ شهرت‌پرست‌ است‌. او جزو فرقه‌ بابی‌ها (یکی‌ از فرقه‌های‌ ایران‌) است‌ و پدر زن‌ او میرزا حسن‌ خان‌ یکی‌ از مقامات‌ مهم ‌این‌ فرقه‌ است‌. از مشخصات‌ ویژه‌ او عدم‌ ابتکار و نداشتن‌ آگاهی‌ سیاسی‌ است‌. احسان‌الله معتاد و الکلی ‌است‌ به‌ طوری‌ که‌ مصرف‌ ودکای‌ او در روز پنج‌ بطری‌ و مصرف‌ تریاکش‌ تا دو مثقال‌ است‌ و این‌ مقدارزیادی‌ است‌. او در اثر نفوذ گروه‌ سردار محیی‌ سریعاً ترقی‌ کرده‌ است‌... او می‌خواست‌ کوچک‌ خان‌ را به مرام‌ باب‌ جلب کند ولی کوچک‌ خان ‌اعتراض‌ کرد که‌ حالا وقت‌ پرداختن‌ به‌ مذهب‌ نیست‌، لازم‌ است‌ برای‌ آزادی‌ وطن‌ از انگلیسی‌ها و از ظلم‌شاه‌ کار کرد. این‌ امر سبب شد که این‌ بابی، که‌ به‌ تدریج‌ شبکه‌ دسایس‌ خود را تنیده‌ بود، با دارودسته‌ خود از اردوی‌ کوچک‌ خان‌ خارج‌ شود... [سردار محیی] این‌ شخص‌ بی‌اراده‌ و بی‌فکر [احسان‌الله خان] را مطمئن‌ کرده‌ بود که‌ با برقراری‌ کمونیسم‌ در ایران بهائی‌گری درایران‌ موفق‌ خواهد شد و آن‌ را مذهب‌ رسمی‌ اعلام‌ خواهند کرد. این‌ موضوع‌ برای‌ هر فرد بهائی اغوا کننده‌است‌. این‌ وعده‌ احسان‌الله خان‌ را کاملاً اغوا کرد ‌که به‌ منظور انتقام‌ از تعقیب‌ دیرینه‌ بهائی‌ها توسط‌ مسلمانان‌ شعارها و اعلامیه‌هایی‌ انتشار دهد... این‌ بابی‌ کهنه‌ مغز باور کرده‌ بود که‌کمونیسم‌ اجازه‌ خواهد داد بهائی‌گری در ایران‌ توسعه‌ یابد و مذهب‌ رسمی‌ کشور شود. این‌ بود عللی‌ که‌ احسان‌الله خان‌ را از کوچک‌ خان‌ دور می‌کرد و موجب‌ شد به‌ دشمنان‌ او بپیوندد.»

10- مردمی که در نهضت جنگل خون دادید و ستم‌ها بر شما رفت، کسانی که قزاقان رضا خان به ناموس‌تان تجاوز کردند، بازماندگان مقتولین کمیته مجازات! بیدار شوید. خاک به سر ریزان، سینه خیز و لابه کنان به سوی بازماندگان کمیته مجازات و خرابکاران در نهضت جنگل و عوامل سرویس اطلاعاتی بریتانیا روید، به درگاه آرامش دوستدار، برادرزاده احسان‌الله خان، به بازماندگان عمادالکتاب قزوینی و ابوالفتح‌زاده و منشی‌زاده و مشکات‌الممالک (گردانندگان کمیته مجازات)، به خاندان‌های ابتهاج و نعیمی و خسروانی و افشار و سرخوش و دیگران تضرع کنید و غرامت بپردازید، شاید این «گناه» بر «پدران‌تان» بخشوده شود که با جنازه خود نردبان قدرت و ثروت این خاندان‌ها شدند. این هولوکاستی است واژگون که قربانی باید به کسی غرامت دهد که او را به مذبح برده است.

ای بازماندگان شیخ زکریا دارابی، که بازوی استوار مجتهد لاری بود و به پاس جهادش در مشروطه از آخوند خراسانی «نصیرالاسلام» لقب گرفت و در رجب 1331 ق. به دست بهائیان نی‌ریز در گرمابه به شهادت رسید، ای وارثان سید ابوالحسن کلانتر سیرجانی، ای اعقاب محمد فخار، که بهائیان یزد او را کشتند و جسدش را سوزانیدند، و قاتلان با اعمال نفوذ بهائیان در دستگاه قضایی تهران تبرئه شدند، [+] شما نیز لابه کنان، «پریشان موی و برهنه پای» به سوی قاتلان عزیزان‌تان بشتابید، شاید گناه مظلومیت شما را ببخشایند.

11- اینک زمان جنگ جهانی دوّم است و قحطی وحشتناک بر ایران حاکم؛ و باز نیاکان خاندان‌های سرشناس بهائی را یا در کار قاچاق و ثروت اندوزی می‌یابیم و یا در کار انتقال غیرقانونی ارز به خارج از ایران. دو سند ذکر می‌کنم. اولی گزارش «بکلی محرمانه» 13 مه 1943 سفارت آمریکا در تهران است به واشنگتن درباره عملیات قاچاق یوسف متحده، (ساکن تهران، سرای رشتی) و پسرش ر. متحده (ساکن آمریکا، نیویورک، خیابان پنجم، شماره 225). مکاتبات پدر و پسر نشان می‌دهد که آنان به قاچاق کالاهایی اشتغال دارند که متضمن نقض قوانین تجاری آمریکا و ایران است.

سند دوّم، گزارش دیگری است از سفارت آمریکا در تهران که نشان می‌دهد ابوالحسن ابتهاج چهل ساله، رئیس کل بانک ملّی ایران، که با پیشینه برادر بزرگش در نهضت جنگل، بعنوان جاسوس سرویس اطلاعاتی بریتانیا آشنا هستیم، در بحبوحه بحران مالی زمان جنگ جهانی دوّم در سال 1944 مبلغ 35 میلیون ریال به خارج منتقل کرده است. در آن زمان دلار معادل 25 الی 30 ریال بود و طبق این سند ابتهاج تنها در یک فقره بیش از یک میلیون دلار ارز به خارج از ایران انتقال داده است. آیا در اینجا نیز باید «پریشان موی و پیاده پای» از خاندان‌های «محترم» متحده و ابتهاج پوزش خواست؟

12- آیت‌الله بروجردی، مرجع بزرگ تشیع، در دهه پایانی حیات ارجمندش از یکه‌تازی بی‌حد و حصر بهائیان و حمایت حکومت پهلوی از ایشان سخت آزرده بود. به این دلیل، او دو بار حکومت پهلوی را به خروج از ایران تهدید کرد و شاه را به هراس انداخت. خروج مرجع تام جهان تشیع از ایران عواقبی سنگین برای حکومت پهلوی در پی داشت. آیت‌الله بروجردی فردی سلیم بود و قطعاً متهم کردن ایشان به افراطی‌گری و تعصب خشک نامقبول است. حبیب لاجوردی همین را از دکتر مهدی حائری یزدی، پسر آیت‌الله شیخ عبدالکریم حائری یزدی، که از نزدیکان آیت‌الله بروجردی و خود در دوران متأخر زندگی از برجسته‌ترین فلاسفه معاصر بود، می‌پرسد و اینگونه پاسخ می‌شنود:

«در مسئله بهائی‎ها تا آنجایی که ایشان تشخیص می‌داد، که بهائی‌ها یک گروه ناراحت‎کننده و اخلالگر در ایران هستند. مسئله صرف اختلاف مذهبی نبود. اینطوری هم که معروف بود تا یک اندازه‎ای هم درست بود که این گروه یک نوع سروسری با منابع خارجی دارند و بیش‌تر مجری منافع خارجی هستند تا منافع ملّی. در این‎طریق مرحوم آقای بروجردی به هیچ وجه تردیدی از خودش نشان نمی‌داد که [از] آن‌چه گروه بهائی‌ها از دستش برمی‌آید [جلوگیری کند] از اذیت‎ها و کارهای موذیانه‎ای که بهائی‌ها دارند و درباره مسلمان‌ها دریغ نمی‌کنند. یعنی به‌طور مخفیانه افراد خودشان را وارد مقامات اداری می‌کنند و مقامات را اشغال می‌کنند. بعد هم مسلمان‌ها را ناراحت می‌کنند. می‎زنند. از بین می‌برند. از این کارها خیلی زیاد می‌کردند. حالا بگذرید از این که الان صورت حق به جانبی به خودشان می‌گیرند. کاری ندارم به وضع فعلی. ولی آن زمان این شکل بود. واقعاً هر کجا که دستشان می‌رسید، به هر وسیله بود، هر مقامی بود اشغال می‌کردند و سعی می‌کردند دیگران را از بین ببرند یا وارد مجمع خودشان بکنند و کارهایی که آن‌ها می‌خواهند انجام بدهند... ولی ایشان [آیت‌الله بروجردی] از این جریان و از این ماجرا آگاه بود و به هر وسیله‎ای بود جلوگیری می‌کرد.» (نیمروز، چاپ خارج از کشور، شماره 670، سال 13، جمعه 28 دی 1380)

13- از مظلومیت بهائیان پس از انقلاب فراوان گفته می‌شود؛ و البته اغراق‌های عجیب نیز می‌شود. منابع بهائی ادعا می‌کنند پس از انقلاب اسلامی در ایران حدود 20 هزار نفر بهائی به قتل رسیدند. این رقم چنان «شور» است که حتی دنیس مک‌ایون در «ایرانیکا» آن را «بسیار اغراق‌آمیز» می‌داند و مدعی است که از آغاز شروع انقلاب جمعاً 300 تا 400 بهائی در جریان‌های مختلف به قتل رسیدند. [+] نمی‌دانم رقم مک‌ایون درست است یا نه، ولی می‌دانم بهائیانی که پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی اعدام یا از ایران خارج شدند، عموماً به مشهورترین و ثروتمندترین خاندان‌های بهائی تعلق داشتند و به دلیل تصدی مناصب عالی دولتی یا دستیابی به ثروت‌های عظیم از طریق پیوند با حکومت پهلوی مورد تعقیب قرار گرفتند. افرادی مانند امیرعباس هویدا و حبیب ثابت و هژبر یزدانی و عبدالکریم ایادی و هوشنگ انصاری و غلامرضا ازهاری و غیره، به‌عنوان شاخص‌ترین چهره‌های فرقه بهائی در ایران، تمامی بهائیان ایران نبودند و اعدام یا فرارشان از کشور به معنی پایان حیات بهائیت در ایران نبود؛ و جرم ایشان نیز تعلق به بهائیت نبود.

و در زمان انقلاب بسیار بودند بهائیان روستاها یا محلات، مانند بهائیان سروستان فارس یا بهائیان محله سعدی شیراز، که یک شبه مسلمان شدند و با درج اطلاعیه در روزنامه‌ها تشرف خود را به اسلام اعلام کردند. و بودند کسانی مانند سرگرد بلوچ قرایی، قاتل سرتیپ افشارطوس، رئیس شهربانی کل کشور در دولت دکتر مصدق، [+] که آنان نیز با درج اطلاعیه در روزنامه‌ها جدایی‌شان از بهائیت و مسلمان شدن شان را اعلام نمودند.

در مباحثی که در صفحه فیسبوکم مطرح است، دوستی با حیرت پرسید چرا در کیفرخواست علیه هویدا هیچ اتهامی به دلیل بهائی بودن او مطرح نیست؟ این پرسش و پاسخ را تکرار می‌کنم:

‏«حمیدرضا علاقه بند: چرا آیت‌الله خلخالی در کیفرخواست هیچ اشاره‌ای به بهایی بودن هویدا نکرد؟ تنها موردی که به ‏بهایی بودن هویدا در دادگاه اوّل و دوّم اشاره شد سئوالی بود که آیت‌الله خلخالی در اواخر دادگاه دوّم از هویدا ‏در مورد مخارج تعمیر یکی از اماکن مقدس مذهب بهائیت پرسید که آیا در این کار چه به طور مستقیم و چه از طریق تأمین ‏مخارج نقشی داشته است یا نه؟ در حقیقت این تنها موردی بود که در طول دادگاه اوّل و دوّم به مذهب بهاییت اشاره شد.

شهبازی: جناب علاقه بند، برای این که هویدا به دلیل بهائی بودن اعدام نشد.‏ آن زمان، به دلیل وجود امام و افرادی مثل مطهری و بهشتی، این درایت وجود داشت که صرف ‏بهائی بودن به عنوان جرم در کیفرخواست عنوان نشود.‏ مثل امروز نبود که فلان بهائی ساده هفتاد ساله بیمار قلبی را می‌گیرند و با دستبند و پابند در خیابان‌های ‏تنکابن می‌گردانند تا همه فیلم و عکس بگیرند، و برای ایران کیس حقوق بشر درست می‌کنند و بعد با وثیقه ده میلیون تومانی آزادش می‌کنند.‏ این کارها از سر تعلق دینی نیست. این‌ها برنامه است علیه جمهوری اسلامی و هیچ کس نمی‌فهمد و از این حرکت‌های مشکوک جلوگیری نمی‌کند.» [+]

14- بارها و بارها حرکت‌هایی عجیب و غیرقابل توضیح علیه برخی بهائیان معمولی دیده‌ام و دریافته‌ام که کانونی مرموز می‌خواهد با قربانی کردن اینان به سود خود بهره برد. در اینگونه موارد ساکت نبوده‌ام، از پخش شدن فهرست اسامی و آدرس برخی بهائیان در شیراز که بلافاصله محکومش کردم [+] تا همان ماجرای زشت گردانیدن وجیه‌الله میرزا گلپور، پیرمرد هفتاد ساله بیمار قلبی بهائی، در تنکابن با دستبند و پابند و رها کردن او پس از برداشتن فیلم و عکس فراوان توسط مردم. [+] اینگونه اقدامات را مشکوک و از سوی کسانی می‌دانم که می‌خواهند «مسئله بهائیت» را بعنوان «کیس حقوق بشر» در مجامع بین‌المللی علیه ایران زنده نگه دارند.

این موارد مرا به یاد سخن عبدالبهاء (عباس افندی) می‌اندازد که «در ضوضاء [آشوب] جهله وهمی نه، البته باید گاه گاهی جزئی صدایی بلند شود که سبب انتباه خلق گردد.» این را در بخشی از رساله خود درباره بهائی‌گری ذیل عنوان «ماهیت بلواهای ضد بهائی» نوشته‌ام. آنجا دو نمونه مشهور از "بهائی‌کشی‌ها" را بررسی کردم؛ ماجرای "شهدای سبعه یزد" (1308 ق.) و بلوای ضد بهائی 1321 ق. در یزد و رشت. در مقدمه این بررسی نوشتم:

«مورخین بهائی درباره شورش‌های ضدبهائی فراوان سخن می‌گویند و می‌کوشند تا چهره‌ای بسیار مظلوم از سرگذشت این فرقه در ایران ترسیم کنند. از این زاویه، تاریخنگاری بهائی شباهتی عجیب به تاریخنگاری یهودی دارد. گویا بهائیان گروهی بودند که به‌دلیل دگراندیشی دینی قربانی تعصب و کین جاهلانه مسلمانان ایران می‌شدند. بررسی نگارنده نشان می‌دهد که این ادعا در موارد عمده صحت ندارد و رهبری بهائیت و عناصر مشکوکی در میان جبهه مخالف بهائیان به عمد و با اهداف معین تبلیغی و سیاسی به ایجاد مهم‌ترین و جنجالی‌ترین آشوب‌های خونین ضد بهائی، معروف به "بهائی‌کشی"، دست زده‌اند. از مهم‌ترین این موارد قتل هفت بهائی در سال 1308 ق. در یزد و شورش ضدبهائی 1321 ق. در یزد و رشت و برخی دیگر از نقاط ایران است.» [+]

در مقابل، در مواردی نه چندان اندک، در کمال ناباوری به کسانی می‌رسم که در خاندان‌های بهائی ریشه دارند. نمی‌گویم بهائی‌اند زیرا رسماً خود را مسلمان می‌خوانند و از نظر شرع و قانون این اقرار کفایت می‌کند. ولی نمی‌توانم بفهمم چرا این بهائی‌زادگان، که تا انقلاب به خانواده‌های بهائی فقیر یا در بهترین حالت میانه حال روستایی یا شهری تعلق داشتند، در طول سه دهه اخیر به متمولین برجسته ایران بدل شده‌اند، و گاه در مناصب حساس جای گرفته‌اند و از نظر مالی و سیاسی بگونه‌ای رشد کرده‌اند که گویی شبکه‌ای مقتدر حامی ایشان است و برخی چنان ثروتمندند که کارخانه‌های ده‌ها میلیارد تومانی مصادره شده را می‌خرند و درواقع باز پس می‌گیرند. در مملکتی که گاه سوراخ گزینش چنان تنگ می‌شود که مسلمان‌ترین مسلمانان از آن رد نمی‌شوند، چگونه این بهائی‌زادگان در مناصب حساس جای گرفته‌اند یا پیمان‌های بسیار کلان دولتی نصیب ایشان شده و می‌شود؟ پیشینه فلان فرمانده نظامی پیشین در فلان استان را می‌کاوی، به تبار و خاندان بهائی‌اش می‌رسی و البته درج اعلام برائت از خانواده خود در پرونده گزینش وی، به معاون مالی‌اش می‌رسی همین است، به معاون اطلاعاتی‌اش می‌رسی همین است، پیشینه فلان ناظر ذینفوذ در سیمای جمهوری اسلامی را می‌کاوی، که در دهه اخیر نقش بزرگی در ترویج جن و جن‌بازی در سریال‌های تلویزیون داشت، به تبار بهائی‌اش می‌رسی. شرکت‌های بزرگ ساختمانی و پیمانکاران بزرگ بخش خصوصی را می‌کاوی، نتیجه همین است.

حیران مانده‎ام و نمی‌دانم کدام را باور کنم؟ آن خراب کردن قبرستان بهائیان در فلان روستای بهائی‌نشین شرق مازندران، و جنجالی که برمی‌انگیزد، یا فیلم گردانیدن آن پیرمرد هفتاد ساله بیمار قلبی بهائی با دستبند و پابند در خیابان‌های تنکابن را، با آن چهره مهربان که گویی عامدانه برای این کار برگزیده شده، یا این حضور «بهائی‌زادگان مسلمان» را در همه جا؛ بویژه در میان کسانی که یا مسبب تاراج‌ها و مفاسد مالی عظیم پس از انقلابند یا عامل پدیده‌های شوم و جنجالی همچون «قتل‌های زنجیره‌ای»؟

حیرانم که چگونه باید «پریشان موی و پیاده پای» از «گناهان» خود و «پدرانم» پوزش بخواهم؟ من که پدر و دو عمو و برخی بستگانم را در دو سرکوب خونین عشایری (1311 و 1343) از دست داده‎ام، و از کودکی دربدری و بی‌کسی خواهران و برادران خردسالم و غارت اموال خاندانم را ناظر بوده و با پیامدهای سهمگین این فاجعه بزرگ شد‌ه‌ام، و عاملین هر دو سرکوب را «نظامیان بهائی» یافته‌ام، آیا هنوز نیز گنهکارم و بابت به مسلخ رفتن پدرانم باید «خسارت» بپردازم؟

به گزارش «اديان نيوز» به نقل از جوان آنلاين :در ادامه فعاليت‌هاي مبلغين فرقه ضاله بهائيت در جهت تبليغ و ترويج اعتقادات اين فرقه انحرافي، اخيراً با اتخاذ شيوه‌اي جديد اقدام به نفوذ در بين اتباع افغاني نموده و تحت پوشش برگزاري كلاس‌هاس مذهبي، ضمن القاء عقايد و باورهاي ضاله بهائيت و همچنين تطميع كمك‌هاي مالي به خانواده‌هايشان آنها را جذب مي‌نمايند.

Tsarina's Stone, oldest public monument in Helsinki, Finland.

In the middle of the Market Square is Helsinki’s oldest public monument, the Tsarina’s Stone. It is an obelisk of red granite topped by a globe and an eagle, the emblem used by the Tsars of Russia. The eagle’s breastplate shows a lion, the coat of arms of Finland. The monument was erected in 1835 in honour of the visit by Tsar Nikolai I and the Tsarina Alexandra, who stepped ashore here.
In 1917, the year of the Russian Revolution and Finland’s independence, Russian seamen took down the globe and eagle, but the Finns kept them safe and they were put back in 1971. There are few places anywhere else where original monuments to the old Russian royal family still exist.

The Baha'is
Baha'is are those who believe that the Promised of Bayan (i.e. He Whom God Shall Make Manifest) who according to Bayan is to appear after 1511 to 2001 Bayani years was Mirza Hussayn Ali Nuri commonly known as Baha or Baha’u’llah who claimed the office of the promised of Bayan when Bayan was at its infancy.

Given the description provided under ‘Babi’ here, Baha'is correctly no longer identify themselves as Babis.
To Bayanis, Bahaism is a diversionary offshoot of the Bayani faith.


The Baha'i Community (1910)

The Azalis Generally, historians have referred to those followers of the Bab who rejected the claims of Mirza Husayn Ali Nuri and followed the Bab's successor Mirza Yahya Nuri (entitled Subh-i Azal) as Azalis.

This naming was mainly used to make a distinction between what they called two factions of Babis (i.e. Azalis and Baha'is).

It also suited the Baha'i purpose, as it would hide away the relationship between Bayanis and the Bab. In fact this is how Baha'is refer to Bayanis even though Aqdas (the Baha'i principal book) uses same term that was used in Persian Bayan i.e. People of Bayan (or Bayanis).

The term Azali may also imply that Subh-i Azal had a claim of his own and that perhaps he was the author of new teachings which is incorrect. In essence, Bayanis need not be re-labelled. The term Bayani fully and uniquely identifies them and qualifies their belief. In summary, there is no such thing as Azali as all Azalis are Bayanis and all Bayanis are Azalis.

BBC's commendable services for the Cause of Baha'u'llah!

This short documentary shows, how BBC Persian is serving the "Cause of Baha'u'llah"? Right from its founder to the managers of different sections majority of them are Baha'is in BBC. The Baha'is don't involve into politics but they do support in changing the governments of the countries they are interested in and they do work for it sincerely. BBC very often and timely produces Baha'i documentaries and interviews of different Baha'i leaders. Baha'i faith is on the top of their agenda and 'may be' some funding is obtained from the Haifan UHJ.

Why don't BBC broadcasts interviews of Wahid Azal, Fredrick Glaysher, Orthodox Baha'is, BUPC Baha'is, Neal Chase Azalis and so many others? Why doesn't it make a nice documentary about Baha'i Sects with interviews of their leaders? Why doesn't it produces a short investigating film about the Trademark Court Case that was lost by the Haifan Baha'is? Why it doesn't make a film on 'Shundamentalism' in Baha'i faith? Why not a film on Covenant Breaking? Why not a documentary on infallibility of the UHJ? Why not a Film on World order of Baha'u'llah, that will be controlled by the Haifan AO? Why not an investigating film that explores the Frauds and Scams of Baha'is? Why not a film on scams and frauds in Baha'i Elections?

That may be the reason many Iranians call BBC as Baha'i Broadcasting Corporation. They may be true!!!

Does the Baha'i Faith suffer from schizophrenia by it's very nature?

In answer to this question:

The use of the term schizophrenia may have been injudicious but it does describe the collective psychic malady that the Baha'i Faith suffers from.

During the 35 years that I was a BIGS I personally sensed this underlying malady. Every time I read something in the writings which was contradicted by actions in the lives, of the founders, of Shoghi, of the members of the UHJ I experienced this malady.

I felt it as a general sense of unease. I went through periods when I questioned whether there was something wrong with myself in that I didn't see the logic or the reasoning behind the many contradictions between the words in the writings and the actions in the lives of the central figures.

I often asked myself questions such as this: "Why remove the past religious practice of dividing humanity the pure tree from the evil tree, the people of the book form the people of infidelity and error, only to reinstate this self same religious practice in the Baha'i writings, in Baha'i religious practice?" It made no logical sense. The cognitive dissonance this set up in my life finally came to a head and I packed up all my Baha'i books, put them in Styrofoam coolers, and stuck them in the crawl space. ;^)

It is the contradictory nature of Baha'i writings, teachings, and religious practices which causes this cognitive dissonance. Teachings which are supposed to be the very words of God and which state such things as this: Whatsoever hath led the children of men to shun one another, and hath caused dissensions and divisions amongst them, hath, through the revelation of these words, been nullified and abolished. (Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 95) ... teachings which go on to council and advise this very behaviour: shunning.

As well how often did Abdu'l-Baha state that we should see no enemies: Let them see no one as their enemy, or as wishing them ill, but think of all humankind as their friends; regarding the alien as an intimate, the stranger as a companion, staying free of prejudice, drawing no lines. (Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 1) One of the teachings is that love and faithfulness must prevail in the hearts that men may see the stranger as a friend, the sinner as an intimate fellow, may count enemies as allies, regard foes as loving comrades, call their executioner the giver of life, consider the denier as a believer and the unbeliever as a faithful one -- that is, men must behave in such a manner as may befit the believers, the faithful, the friend and the confidant. (Abdu'l-Baha, Tablets of Abdu'l-Baha v1, p. 125) ... teachings which then go on to council and advise this very behaviour: the seeing of enemies, the drawing of lines.

The malady represented in the futile attempt to reconcile the irreconcilable nature of these clear contradictions in the Baha'i Faith may not be schizophrenic but it is unhealthy both psychically as well as spiritually.

IMHO all that afflicts the Baha'i Faith as a religion can be traced to this malady. The malady of turning a blind eye to clear contradictions and even hypocrisy. The myth of infallibility in the Baha'i religion only compounds this malady.

Supreme Court of Afghanistan declared Baha’i faith as form of blasphemy and followers of it as infidels

"Non-Muslim minority groups, particularly Christian, Hindu, Sikh, and Bahai groups, which together constitute approximately 1 percent of the population, were targets of discrimination and persecution. The minority Shia community continued to face discrimination from the majority Sunni population. Authorities detained at least two converts from Islam to Christianity during the reporting period, although both have since been released. Television programming led to increased negative public opinion and suspicion of Christian activities and targeted violence and harassment against Christians, including converts from Islam. The Afghan Supreme Court ruled that membership in the Bahai Faith constituted blasphemy and that Muslims who convert to the Bahai Faith are apostates. Local Hindu and Sikh populations continued to encounter problems in obtaining land for cremation and harassment during major celebrations."

This is the end to the fake stories of Ruhiyyih Khanum. Many of the Baha'is who used to get bored by all those fake stories fabricated by this lady will take a long breath of relaxation. Violette is no more with them, so now no more boring and fabricated stories of Madame Ruhiyyih!

She went to Abha kingdom early morning of 14th September in France. So now she will narrate all those stories (fabricated ones) to Mr. P. Khan who took a flight to Abha Kingdom on 15th July.

In her life she got many chances to travel with Ruhiyyih Khanum throughout the world. So, many people saw her with Madame Ruhiyyih and that's why many poor and innocent Baha'is put their faith in her and believed in whatever she said, I mean all those fabricated stories. Her actual name was née Banani. She was the wife of Mr. Ali yullah Nakhjavani, who was as a member of the Universal House of Justice, the supreme governing body of the Haifan Bahá'í Faith, from 1963 to 2003. So this lady is very important. In Baha'i faith the Continental Counselors, International Counselors and UHJ members are very important and their wives are important too.

Ali and Violette have one daughter, Bahiyyih, and one son, Mehran; they currently reside in France. Bahiyyih is a member of "Baha'i International Faith" and about Mehran no info is available.

Infallibility of UHJ demands NO ELECTIONS !!!

The Baha’is believe that their administration is divine and the House of Justice is infalliable. The Baha’is should submit themselves to the UHJ and let them decide what is good for them, as the Supreme Body is considered ‘Infallible’.

This means that only the First Election of UHJ in 1963 was required as it was for the first time that the infallible body was formed. After that all the subsequent elections and bye elections were absolutely unwanted for because the UHJ is itself Infallible. The retiring member should have put this agenda in front of the UHJ that due to his advanced age he wants to retire and let UHJ decide a new member in his place. Obviously this decision would have been free of error and the most eligible member’s name would have emerged out.
Similarly, after the end of every five years the UHJ should have a special meeting for appointment of members of UHJ for the next five years, and because the UHJ is free from errors, the most appropriate members will be on the list.

It would have been better that The Infallible UHJ itself appoints the members for the infallible body rather than fallible Baha’is appointing an Infallible Body.

Or let the NSA of different countries nominate a pool of names for the appointment of Members of UHJ and then the present UHJ selects the names of the most suitable members for the next UHJ body. I mean, somewhere or the other the role of UHJ as an infallible body, should emerge.

If this is accepted than all the efforts to hold International convention every five years and any bye elections caused by retirement or death of any member will not be required. Thus the Baha’is will also get rid from the accusation that the Elections of UHJ is not actually ‘Election’ but ‘Selection’. The selection will hence be official.

This would be in true spirit of what Mr. Peter Khan has said:

“This is the challenge we face and it’s inherent in the Ridván 2009 Message. The solution is childish simple; the solution is so simple, it hardly worth mentioning. The solution is no more and no less than unreserved acceptance of whatever the central authority of the Cause, in this case the Universal House of Justice decrees.

If we would hold to that, if we would contemplate it deeply, if we would absorb the implications and meaning of unreserved acceptance and implementation of whatever the Central Authority in the Cause decrees we are safe. Nothing can trouble us, we are in an impregnable stronghold, and we would become part of this massive movement of humanity to rescue the world from the perilous disorder, the intense suffering of the declining process and to usher in the ordained new world civilization in the Golden Age of the Cause”

The Baha’is should not hesitate from correcting the situation and accepting mistakes of past. Be logical and adhere to the true spirit of the Faith. The position of Baha’is today is greatly weakened by accepting and following blindly without independent investigation and thoughtful conclusions.

Freedom of association and Baha'i Faith

Been thinking about why freedom of association is so important that it is included in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Have also been thinking about how Baha'i religious practice contravenes this right and how a religion which has progressive aspects has evolved to not recognize this basic human right.

The illogic of the Baha'i religious practice of shunning those it has labeled as covenant breakers is that a Baha'i could be forced to associate with a fellow Baha'i whose character is shady while at the same time being forced to not associate with a Baha'i from a different sect whose character is laudable. Not only is this illogical, in Canadian law it is illegal because it contravenes our Character of Rights and Freedoms right of association.

Which makes more sense? The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or Baha'i religious practice, Baha'i religious law? A Baha'i religious law which can even force family members to not associate with each other on threat of being excommunicated from the Baha'i religion?

There are aspects of Baha'i belief that need to be shed before the Baha'i religion can truly be a humanitarian religion, a religion which truly honors the human rights of all, a religion fit for this time in humanities history.

Baha’i Faith is Hypocrisy personified

The Baha’i faith as it stands today faces a challenge of becoming irrelevant to the sayings of Baha’u’llah and Abdul Baha. Having failed to attract converts and not getting acceptance from the world society, the Baha’i Faith today is trying to serve itself as a religion in terms of writing OPEN LETTERS (as against Holy writings!!) that have no bearing whatsoever on the targeted people.

Very recently we heard about a petition made by 31 Imminent Indians to the Government of Iran, on another occasion we heard that Baha’is wrote an irrelevant letter to the people of Egypt.

There was again an ‘Open letter’ in the Wall Street Journal republished Dr. Kishan Manocha, Director of the Office of External Affairs of the Bahá’í community of the UK. The document, dated 7th December and addressed to Ayatollah Mohammad Sadeq Larijani, stating the injustices meted out to Iranian Baha’is. Many more open letters must be in the pipe line.

These open letters afford Baha’is opportunity to be in touch with Media, non-governmental organizations, various government officials and prominent individuals.

Although The Guardian of the Baha’i Faith has forbidden Baha’is to take part in any such campaign, which is political in character, the present Baha’is have resorted to this as a last measure. Extract of the Guardians advice is indicated below:

“The Baháís should refrain from signing petitions designed to bring pressure on the Government which may have any political character whatsoever. There are so many other people who can carry on progressive types of activity, but only the Baháís can do the work of Baháulláh”…

The Baha’is know it very well that these reactions will harm the Baha’is in Iran but the fact is that the UHJ wants MARTYRS IN IRAN so that they can shout BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD, Money, Money, Money.

The Baha’is of World have done nothing to help their fellow Baha’is inside or outside of the Iran. They have been content to benefit economically and extract cheap propaganda for themselves. The Baha’is are an inward-looking community which can sacrifice its own people for monetary gains.

We see so much injustice and oppression prevailing in the world, and thousands are dying, but the only thing that comes to the mind of Baha’is is perceived threat, violence to themselves. No mention is made of the fact that Jews, Christians and Muslims have been threatened or attacked. The Baha’is seem to judge the justice of a regime according to how well it treats the Baha’is. An unjust regime treating the Baha’is well is tolerated or even extolled, while a popular regime which deprives Baha’is of certain freedom (perhaps along with other religious groups) is regarded as evil.

When UHJ was approached to give a statement on ‘Iraq invasion’ it said that we follow the policy of non-involvement in politics. This ‘non involvement’ tag on Baha’is are ‘get-out passes’ from just about everything.

Needless to say, the Baha’is are gradually gaining a reputation for hypocrisy and self-interestedness. The world of Internet has exposed the Baha’i Community that has a deliberate agenda of using education / educational institutions / educational programmes to promote their activities and their faith.

The Baha’is also have a deliberate policy of targeting prominent people, including teachers and other educationalists – all influential strata of society. Issues of common concerns are used to attract these strata but without making apparent it is the Baha’i Faith propagation that gets priority. Crowds are drawn in the names of these prominent personalities but intentions are different.

Look at how events are twisted to know the true character of the Baha’is. Baha’is were caught teaching Baha’i Faith to the children in IRAN, which is an illegal activity in Iran. Instead of humbly accepting their mistake, the Baha’is said they were teaching the underprivileged children (knowing Baha’i nature this can only be far from truth!!!). Baha’is indulge in such ‘social’ activities (read ‘anti-social’) for influencing the children of other community not only related to Iran but in many countries where such activities are not seen appropriate. A question arises in ones mind – is need of education in Baha’i community totally established that they have to educate only other communities?

In Uzbekistan, during a police raid, the Baha’is were caught proselytizing the children as young as 10 years about Baha’i Faith. On being questioned, if they had the consent of the parents, they said, ”we were having Tea together and for having a cup of tea neither the consent of parents nor any authority is required”. Have you heard ten year olds having tea with matured men? Needless to say the Baha’is were immediately deported out of Uzbekistan. Refer http://uzbekbahai.blogspot.com/ for details.

In India they said, “We are creating Promoters of the Community Well being”. When the Baha’is were taken to the police station, Baha’i officials said that “we were conducting practicals for these students”. They were told that schools were better places for the students to get their practical training. On further questioning, the students confessed that they were going to villages for conduction of Baha’i religious classes for children and youths and they were told by their teachers that their course will be completed only when they do these activities. The teacher had also warned them to be ‘TACTFUL’ while propagating the Baha’i religion. On seeing the Baha’i books it became clear for the Police that it was a conversion class. As the 'Ruhi Book' that they were having, contained Baha'i religious material and chapters such as "UNDERSTANDING THE BAHA'I WRITINGS." (Refer http://panchgani-bahais.blogspot.com/ for details)

In Indonesia the Bahá'ís were arrested and prosecuted under the Law of Child Protection (23-2002) trying to convert children of other faith as young as 9 to 10 years. The Police found that there is very compelling evidence for the crime and violation of law of land. The Indonesian Government requires that Religious groups and social organizations must obtain permits to hold religious concerts or other public events. Permits usually are granted in an unbiased manner; unless there is concern that the activity could anger members of another faith who live in the area. Baha’is had once again violated the code of conduct (refer http://agamabahai.blogspot.com/ for details)

In 2008 in Yemen four Baha’is, Mr. Zia'u'llah Pourahmari, Mr. Keyvan Qadari, Mr. Behrooz Rohani. and Mr. Sayfi Ibrahim Sayfi, were arrested and deported on charges of “proselytizing” in a manner against Yemeni law.

Reports are also there that the Christian priests have warned the Baha’is, in no uncertain terms, that they should conduct the Ruhi book courses only with Baha’i children and not with non Baha’i children.

With such frustrating experiences the Faith has no option but to gain sympathy from world by writing ‘Open Letters’. The world has now seen the true face of Baha’is and can no longer be deceived. History has never seen such deception ever. The Baha’is should spend rest of the time left for the Faith and reflect on validity of their Faith and the hoax care-takers of the Faith (the Universal House of Justice). Reality will not be hidden then. In the interest of humanity this is a MUST.

How Baha'i faith is a Cult?

Based on "Combatting Cult Mind Control" by Steven Hassan, here are the criteria for determining "cults":

1. How new members are found

Dangerous Cults: With many cults, you don't get to know what you are getting into until after you have made a commitment

Baha'i Faith: There are secrets but these secrets are not known to the poor, innocent, newly converted Baha'is. Does the common baha'i know that the Baha'i Elections are fully controlled by the "All Male, Supreme, All Infallibale, Haifan Organization"? Do they know that these are not spiritual but highly fraud and controlled? there are many secrets and are available on the internet. Search on google for "Pakistan Baha'i Election Fraud", "Baha'i Control on their Electoral System", "Baha'i Election fraud in India".

2. How funding is obtained.

Dangerous Cults: Commercial operations and/or mandatory donations (often large percentages) by members.

Baha'i Faith: Has commercial businesses, businesses associations, huge property investments, heavy bank deposits. They collect money from poor Africans, Indians, Burmese, Nepalis, Pakistanis in the name of Community Banking and then use these funds for proselytizing. Also auctions are held of different used Clothings of Baha'i Leaders for fund raising. If they know about you have money, they (Especially Iranian Baha'is) will start motivating you to give the HUQUQULLAH, which is then transferred to UHJ in Haifa and it is then used to maintain Huge Gardens on Mount Carmel. Ask the Baha'is what they have done for the destitute of Congo and Sudan? Some of the fund is used for Pioneering purpose and it is allocated by the Counselors to its own people, sometimes exceeding 15000 US$ a year. There are huge financial scams in the Baha'i community. Just google to learn more, Search for Baha'i financial scams in Dubai, India, Italy, Pakistan, Africa, Iran etc.

Recently a Saree (cultural dress worn by women in India) of Ruhiyyih Maxwell was auctioned to raise funds for Baha'i activities.

3. Charismatic central figure.

Dangerous Cults: Cults usually have a central living figure who often lives on income from adherents.

Baha'i Faith : "Baha'i Say: There is no clergy, paid or unpaid" Totally false!

There are no clergies but there are Counselors and ABMs. The ABMs are religious Police just like the one in IRAN and the Counselors are purely MULLAHs. They are those conducting difficult and important lectures on the subjects such as Covenant, Huququllah, Covenant Breaking, Baha'i Elections, Ruhi 8 etc. These are Baha'i MULLAHs and everybody is supposed to OBEY them without any questioning. You cannot be critical of them. Otherwise you are considered Critical of UHJ, the Supreme Baha'i Body. These Counselors and ABMs are mostly paid huge amounts for their services. These amounts are called as "Living Assistance". Even the International Counselors are House of Justice members are paid huge amounts collected from the poors in the name of Huququllah.

4. Investigation of truth

Dangerous Cults: Members are often told that it is dangerous to investigate other religions.

Baha'i Say: Baha'is are encouraged to investigate all religions, and to appreciate truth no matter where it is found. Totally Wrong.

Baha'is are strictly not allowed to read the material of other Baha'i Sects. They are told to immediately delete all the emails received by the "Critics" or Baha'is of other denominations. Immediately handover the 'UNREAD' material received by other sects to the Baha'i Mullas (Counselors). As this can damage their so called weak 'covenant'.

The Guardian problem in the Baha'i Faith

Hands of the Cause at their plenary meeting, April 1963.

1. The station of Guardian was decreed by the Last Will and Testament of Abdul Baha, a document which some have alleged to be a forgery.

2. If the LW&T is not a forgery, then the Guardian's failure to obey his self-described duties are contrary to what a divinely appointed authority would be expected to do.

3. These self-described duties include the critical task of appointing a successor guardian, who would take over after the death or incapacitation of the preceding guardian. The successor was to have been appointed in a manner that would leave no room for doubt as to the validity of the successor’s appointment.

4. There is no credible evidence that any successor guardian was ever appointed in such an unambiguous manner, although there were claimants.

5. No provision had ever been made concerning the contingency of a guardian dying without having appointed a successor. Indeed, such a possibility had never even been mentioned by Shoghi. That is why his death intestate led to the crisis it did.

6. The combination of these facts decisively refutes the notion that the Guardianship was ever a divine institution. It also demonstrates that Shoghi himself never believed that it was. He never made any
attempt, neither to ensure a clear line of succession, nor to anticipate the lack of a succession.

7. Upon Shoghi’s unexpected death (or Murder?), the Hands of the Cause took it upon themselves to resolve the matter by declaring that henceforth, the Baha'i Faith would have no living guardian. But they had no authority to make that declaration.

8. Shoghi’s death created an unresolvable discrepancy, a contradiction, that pits the alleged divine authorship of the station against the physical facts. One cannot have it both ways. For the station to be of divine authorship, there must be a succession of guardians, or absent that, some provision to account for a lack of succession.

9. While the Hands made the best they could of a bad situation, their best was not enough. Nor could it be. It should become apparent that such an irregularity could not be explained in terms of a divinely appointed station. Shoghi Effendi had been inexcusably, and inexplicably, derelict in his duties, duties which he himself had repeatedly affirmed in the most emphatic manner.

10. Claimants to the succession of guardianship make such a weak and flimsy case for their divine authority that their claims make no improvement regarding the failure of Shoghi Effendi to be clear and unambiguous in the appointment of a successor.

11. Attempts by the UHJ to uphold the actions of the Hands are equally flimsy and unjustifiable. Even their most contorted explanations do not suffice to resolve the contradictions.

12. In all likelihood, the LW&T was a forgery by those who sought power in what they thought would become a powerful world religion. Even if it was not a forgery, it certainly had no divine authorship, as demonstrated by its abject failure to bear the fruit which it had promised.

God hath decreed, in token of His mercy unto His creatures, that semen is not unclean. Yield thanks unto Him with joy and radiance ¶74

Bahá'u'lláh is said to have written the Kitáb-i-Aqdas in 1873, or perhaps several years earlier. This was relatively early in his ministry, so much was added or ammended afterward, but the Aqdas stands as the book that Bahá'u'lláh intended to serve as the foundation of his scriptures. The Aqdas, when viewed with its Islamic, Shi'i, Iranian, and Bayanic origins in mind, presents very little original material, and is hence a very traditional book in the Shi'i style, and it contains much that western Bahá'ís and non-Bahá'ís might find hard to swollow. It is therefore no surprise that the Bahá'í authorities did not complete an authoritative English translation until 120 years after its release in Arabic. Its release in English, along with the advent of the Internet, preceeded a surge in fundamentalism in the previously liberal western Bahá'í community.
First and foremost, the Twin Duties assigned by the Aqdas to all men are (1) belief in Bahá'u'lláh and (2) obedience to his laws and ordinances. ¶1 The Aqdas states quite clearly that good deeds—without satisfying these two duties—are worthless. This fundamentalist doctrine of salvation leaves no room for the unbeliever and those who cannot manage to live by the entirety of Bahá'u'lláh's rules and regulations, which are—as well shall soon see—quite hard to swallow hole. The Bahá'í community, in fact, does not follow many of the directives of the Aqdas, though they claim they will one day when mankind has reached a sufficient level of maturity.

The Foundation: Original Sin

The Bahá'í doctrine of the Twin Duties rests upon the foundation of the Bahá'í version of the doctrine of original sin. The Bahá'í idea is not that Adam and Eve blew it for the rest of us, but rather that we are inadequate by design, and not just morally, but we are futhermore incapable of discerning right from wrong. Our only hope is to fear God, recognize Bahá'u'lláh, and obey him.

O people of the world! Follow not the promptings of the self, for it summoneth insistently to wickedness and lust; follow, rather, Him Who is the Possessor of all created things, Who biddeth you to show forth piety, and manifest the fear of God. ¶64
Regard men as a flock of sheep that need a shepherd for their protection. This, verily, is the truth, the certain truth. We approve of liberty in certain circumstances, and refuse to sanction it in others. We, verily, are the All-Knowing. ¶124

Bahá'u'lláh makes this point in different ways throughout his writings:

man is unable to comprehend that which hath streamed forth from the Pen of Glory and is recorded in His heavenly Books. Men at all times and under all conditions stand in need of one to exhort them, guide them and to instruct and teach them.

Lawh-i-Maqsúd (Tablet to Mirzá Maqsúd)

Thus the Aqdas states in no uncertain terms that we are to follow Bahá'u'lláh strictly according to his own terms:

Weigh not the Book of God with such standards and sciences as are current amongst you, for the Book itself is the unerring Balance established amongst men. In this most perfect Balance whatsoever the peoples and kindreds of the earth possess must be weighed, while the measure of its weight should be tested according to its own standard, ... ¶99

Thus it follows that one cannot rest ones conscience on good deeds alone, because one cannot distinguish good from evil in the first place.

Blessed is the man that hath acknowledged his belief in God and in His signs, and recognized that "He shall not be asked of His doings". Such a recognition hath been made by God the ornament of every belief and its very foundation. Upon it must depend the acceptance of every goodly deed. ¶161

This, of course, puts men in a position of being incapable of measuring the appropriateness or fairness of any of Bahá'u'lláh's laws and ordinances, or for that matter, anything Bahá'u'lláh has said. Therefore, men must simply believe and obey:

The first duty prescribed by God for His servants is the recognition of Him Who is the Dayspring of His Revelation and the Fountain of His laws, Who representeth the Godhead in both the Kingdom of His Cause and the world of creation. Whoso achieveth this duty hath attained unto all good; and whoso is deprived thereof hath gone astray, though he be the author of every righteous deed. It behoveth every one who reacheth this most sublime station, this summit of transcendent glory, to observe every ordinance of Him Who is the Desire of the world. These twin duties are inseparable. Neither is acceptable without the other. ¶1

Unbelievers

There are certainly passages in Bahá'í scripture that exhibit tolerance of the unbeliever, but there are certainly passages that exhibit a less than complimentary attitude:

The peoples of the world are fast asleep. ... So bewildered are they in the drunkenness of their evil desires, that they are powerless to recognize the Lord of all being, Whose voice calleth aloud from every direction ... ¶39

Islamic Legalism

One of the most striking characteristics of the Aqdas, especially in light of the fact that such gravity is given to its laws and ordinances, is that a number of important issues are omitted while several less important topics are addressed in great technical detail. What the Aqdas chooses to address appears to follow the pattern of Islamic tradition and Bábí law more than issues that concern modern civilazation. Indeed, the Aqdas itself indicates that Bahá'u'lláh wrote the Aqdas to appease the many contemporary Bahá'ís who saw great importance in addressing Islamic law. ¶98

Severe Punishments

It is not enough to say that the Aqdas endorses capital punishment. In many parts of the world where capital punishment is used, it is reserved for extreme crimes. In the Aqdas, the application of capital punishment is more straightforward: if one kills (with intent), one is to be killed. ¶62
Even stronger is the punishment for arson, which appears to be the equivalent of burning at the stake. ¶62 Not to imply that arson is not a dreadfully serious crime, but isn't that a bit cruel and unusual? Is there no other crime that calls for a punishment of proportionate cruelty?

Unfair Penalties and Allotments

Though Bahá'u'lláh dealt with a handful of topics in great detail, his handling of these topics left something to be desired with regard to fairness.
One example of this are the flat monetary fines applied to fornication ¶49 and manslaughter ¶188 and flat amounts assigned to dowries ¶66: did it ever occur to Bahá'u'lláh that this approach favors the wealthy? It has the effect of making fornication and manslaughter similarly minor offenses for those who can easily part with a little gold.
I have, on occasion, stopped to wonder how a modern criminal court system might be served by the additional load of fornication cases. I also wonder how people might come to be accused of fornication. It's good for a laugh or two.
Manslaughter is treated as a civil offense for which the blood money is set to about 11 troy oz. of gold. The fine for first offense adultery is about an ounce.

Marriage and Inheritance

The passages of the Aqdas on marriage ¶63-70 are noticeably gender-biased. Men are permitted to have two wives ¶63 (`Abdu'l-Bahá later abrogated this allowance of bigamy). Men are presumed to be the sole bread winners, so no consideration is given to the likelihood that a woman might work ¶67. Whereas adultery is considered to be an offense that men and women can commit ¶49, divorce appears to be justifiable by female adultery only, for, in keeping with Islamic tradition, divorce is not a two-way street: the man divorces the wife; not the other way around. ¶68.
Dowries are set to a couple ounces of gold for city urban Bahá'ís and a couple ounces of silver for rural Bahá'ís. ¶66 Silver is, of course, worth much less than gold. This system favors rural residents whether they are rich or poor, but more importantly, why even bother with such detail? Why require dowries in a modern age in which wives are presumably no longer possessions?
Bahá'u'lláh's rules for inheritance clearly favor men over women. ¶20–29 The only defense Bahá'ís have for this is that Bahá'u'lláh's rules are merely a default to be used when Bahá'ís don't leave a will (which would be illegal). Is this to suggest that Bahá'u'lláh's inheritance rules are not to be used, even as a model? Of course they are to be used! If failing to leave a will is forbidden, why else would Bahá'u'lláh have specified these allotments? To punish the female descendants only?

Important Topics Avoided

It seems a bit peculiar that, having dealt with incidental topics in great detail, Bahá'u'lláh found his way to sidestep some important issues, such as circumcision—especially the female variety practiced in parts of the Muslim world. He must have been aware of the practice, yet he did not seem to believe it was an issue deserving of his attention.
Some heinous crimes are not touched by the Aqdas. Thievery is addressed in detail, but robbery—the violent equivalent—is not touched.
The Aqdas does not address sexual crimes such as molestation and rape. These heinous offenses may not have been considered as serious from Bahá'u'lláh's Islamic perspective, but of course that's no excuse for a universal manifestation.

Good Old-Fashioned Homophobia

The Aqdas fails to discuss rape, sexual assault, or molestation, but it does express great abhorrance for something it ambiguously calls the subject of boys. ¶107 Shoghi Effendi interpreted this as a general forbiddence of sexual relations between males. As ambiguously grossed out as Bahá'u'lláh appeared to be by the subject of boys, Shoghi Effendi was probably reading Bahá'u'lláh right.

Silly Stuff, But Not Harmless

Though the Bahá'ís claim to respect cultural diversity, the very fabric of the Bahá'í Faith threatens cultural diversity, because the Bahá'í Faith is no mere code of international and interracial good will as it has been sold to us; rather it is a complex set of behavioral codes that dictate manner of dress, eating, worship, marriage, and on and on. One directive that drives this point home is Bahá'u'lláh's directive on the trimming of hair:

Shave not your heads; God hath adorned them with hair, and in this there are signs from the Lord of creation to those who reflect upon the requirements of nature. He, verily, is the God of strength and wisdom. Notwithstanding, it is not seemly to let the hair pass beyond the limit of the ears. Thus hath it been decreed by Him Who is the Lord of all worlds. ¶44

It's a good thing Shoghi Effendi clarified the prohibition against long hair to be directed only toward men! Still, given the apparent spirit of this passage, consider how Bahá'u'lláh kept his own hair. We have included a photo to assist the reader.

This question ought to also be put to `Abdu'l-Bahá's appearance. Still, this lack of integrity is not the most troubling aspect of the twin directives on hair. The keeping of hair is a part of many cultures. What are the Bahá'ís to say people who have used the grooming of their hair as part of their cultural and religious heritage for thousands of years? For example, in many Native American cultures, the cutting of ones hair is a sign of grieving or shame. Are the Bahá'ís prepared to follow in the footsteps of the Christian missionaries of old?

This is certainly not the only place where the Bahá'í Faith imposes on perfectly harmless cultural practices. The Bahá'í Faith requires burial of the dead, for instance, and the Bahá'í Faith brings its own set of rules and form of ceremony to marriages and funerals. Even the dinner table is not spared:

Take heed lest, when partaking of food, ye plunge your hands into the contents of bowls and platters. ¶46

Does this mean we must eat pizza with a fork?
And in keeping with the Tidiness-is-Godliness principle, we have another gem:

Should the garb of anyone be visibly sullied, his prayers shall not ascend to God, and the celestial Concourse will turn away from him. ¶67

Well, I should say: what if the garment is invisibly sullied by some horrible bacteria? Then his prayers would be welcome because there is no visible dirt?
And finally, another silly rule:

If ye should hunt with beasts or birds of prey, invoke ye the Name of God when ye send them to pursue their quarry; for then whatever they catch shall be lawful unto you, even should ye find it to have died. ¶60

The obvious question here is: what if one hunts with a gun, a net, or a bow?
This is a discussion about the culturally insensitive nature of the Bahá'í Faith that goes beyond the Aqdas itself, but the Aqdas is a prominant part of the problem.

The Roots of Shundamentalism

Shundamentalism, the distictly Bahá'í practice of shunning other Bahá'ís who follow another Bahá'í leader, was put forward again and again by Bahá'u'lláh, and an example is to be found in the Aqdas:

Erelong shall clamorous voices be raised in most lands. Shun them, O My people, and follow not the iniquitous and evil-hearted. This is that of which We gave you forewarning when We were dwelling in Iraq, then later while in the Land of Mystery, and now from this Resplendent Spot. ¶37

Later, in Questions and Answers, Bahá'u'lláh utters this remarkably divisive statement regarding non-Bahá'í family members, giving great legal weight to the practice of shunning apostates:

Any heir, from whichever category of inheritors, who is outside the Faith of God is accounted as non-existent and doth not inherit.

اطلاعیه موصوف خطاب به محافل به اصطلاح روحانی ملی کشور‌های استرالیا، کانادا،فرانسه، المان، ایتالیا، هلند، نیوزیلند، آفریقای جنوبی، اسپانیا، سوئیس، انگلیس و ایالات متحده است.

در این بیانیه آمده است:«بیت‌العدل مقرر فرمودند مواردی از پیام‌ها را که عناصر بهایی ایرانی تقاضای هدایت می‌کنند از جمله‌ این که آیا در ایران بمانند، آن را ترک کنند، به این کشور سفر کنند، به ایران نقل مکان کنند یا برای همیشه به ایران مراجعت کنند و ... را در اختیار شما بگذاریم تا به اطلاع آحاد احباء جامعه خود بگذارید. این اطلاعات نباید در حال حاضر در خبرنامه‌ها یا امثال آنها به نحوی گسترده منتشر شود، بلکه آن را می‌توان در جواب سوالاتی که برای شما مطرح می‌شود، ارائه نمود.»
بیت‌العدل ادامه زندگی بهائیات در ایران را نوعی خدمت تلقی کرده و آنان را مورد ستایش قرار می‌دهد و سپس برای تحریک احساسات بهائیت ساکن ایران می‌افزاید: «اولیای حکومت ایران سعی دارند تا آنجا که امکان دارد زندگی را برای بهائیان مشکل سازند تا در گرو‌ههای عظیم مبادرت به ترک کشور کنند. در مقابل این قبیل فشار‌ها، این امید وجود دارد که یاران بتوانند قاطع و محکم ایستادگی کنند و در ایران بمانند. اقامت آن ها در کشور ایران برای خدمت به مصالح امرالله در زمره ممدوح‌ترین اعمال در این برهه از زمان محسوب است.»

سران فرقه می‌افزایند: «در ارتباط با جوانان بهایی که برای ادامه تحصیل قصد ترک ایران را دارند، باید به یقین بدانند که تحت شرایط فعلی، اقامت در ایران برای خدمت امر‌الله و مساعدت به احبای عزیز بسیار ممدوح و مرجع است و چنان‌چه میل آن ها به ادامه تحصیل که در اتیه ایام در پیشبرد امرالله و مشارکت در توسعه اجتماعی آن موثرتر و اثر بخش‌تر است، امید می‌رود که نهایت جد و جهد را مبذول دارند که بعد از اکمال تحصیلات به ایران مراجعت کنند»

بیت‌العدل توصیه می‌کند: «احبای ایرانی در سراسر عالم که در نظر دارند به ایران سفر کنند بعد از ملاحظه شرایط و سنجیدن عوامل گوناگون دخیل در موضوع، به اتخاذ تصمیم مبادرت کننده. افراد باید دیدگاه‌های محفل روحانی ملی و روابط بین کشور محل اقامت و ایران و نیز توصیه‌های صادر شده از سوی دولت یا سایر منابع مرتبط درباره سفر به کشور مزبور را مد نظر قرار قرار دهند.

این هدایت همچنین در مورد زوج‌هایی نیز که یکی از طرفین ایرانی و دیگری از تباری غیرایرانی است، مصداق دارد. اگر سفر به ایران باعث لطمه به وضعیت عناصر ساکن ایران می‌شود، از سفر پرهیز کنید، هنگام صحبت درباره امر مبارک، حزم و حکمت را رعایت نمایند، نباید هنگام ورود به ایرن معرفی‌نامه‌های امری را همراه داشته باشید، کتب امری در اختیار باید کتب نیاز شخصی باشد، از ارتباط با مرکز جهانی بهائیت حتی با ایمیل خودداری کنند، گذرنامه افرادی که به ایران سفر می‌کنند نباید ممهور به مهر ورود به اسرائیل باشد، بخش دین برگه متقاضی روادید نباید سفید گذاشته شود بلکه باید خط بکشید، اگر مسئولان مربوط صریحاً متقاضی را به ذکر دین ملزم سازند، البته متقاضی باید دیانت خود را «بهایی» ذکر کند.»

صدور اطلاعیه مذکور حاکی از موفقیت اجرای طرح‌های تشکیلات اطلاعاتی و ایجاد فشار مضاعف بر فرقه که در نهایت به اقبال بهائیان به خروج از کشور منجر شده، می‌باشد و باید این اقدامات با جدیت ادامه داشته باشد./بی باک

The hypocrisy of Prof. Mohamad Tavakoli-Targhi and his Haifan Baha'i Organisation

The purpose of the conference in Toronto which was held under chairmanship of Mr. Tavakoli and under the Guidance of Universal House of Justice failed to achieve any of its aim because the conference failed to reflect on very important issues prevailing in the Baha’i organization. For example, The Baha’i NSA of the US recently lost a case in which it attempted to sue rival, schismatic Baha’i groups for trademark infringement of the name Baha’i. The daily increase in the numerous harassment that Baha’is have been subjected to. The existence of a Baha'i Internet Agency one of whose roles is to spy and isolate online critics. Trying to find out their IP addresses then their home addresses and then bullying them to submission. Forcing Google to disband their blogs/sites.

After all, thinking is our freedom to investigate the truth and follow it. If one is truly liberal then his approaches will not suffocate the human mind to certain ideals only. The conference failed to encourage the audience to seek out the truth in their investigation. It failed in encouraging audience to apply truth to their investigation. Mr. Tavakoli and his Haifan Baha’i friends should note that staying in glass houses one should not through stones at others. In future never use Academic Institute like Toronto University as your implementing agenda forum.

Can Mr. Tavakoli and his Haifan organization answer?

The Haifan Baha’is always preaches tolerance and peace then why do they not extend the same tolerance and peace to their own while demanding it from other religious leaders? is this not hypocrisy?

Why excommunicate Academician and University professor like Prof Firouz Anarki the former member of NSA of Thailand just because he believed that to become a good teacher for Children classes one need not do Ruhi book 3.

Why excommunicate Mr. Jamshed Fozdar who so sincerely worked for Haifan Baha’is as a counselor for a number of years. His only fault was his assertions that the content of the books of the Ruhi Institute are unjustified, and that the only valid way to teach the Cause to the peoples of the world is through the use of the scriptures of their respective religions

Why send Counselors to threaten professors of history and Middle East studies of 'making statements contrary to the covenant' in the Spring of 1996 and bully them out of the religion?

Why the crackdown on the talis...@indiana.edu list and its participants? Why bully individuals to retract statements of fact, but when they do under duress, they are Sanctioned?

Why bully the editors of dialogue magazine to close it down and accuse them of negative campaigning and lying for an article entitled *A Modest Proposal* which had gone through the process of pre-publication review by the NSA itself and then accuse these editors of being covenant breakers for following the NSA's own rules and guidelines on the floor of National Convention in 1988?

Why threaten people believing in freedom of conscience and freedom to express one's opinion?

Why expel Michael McKenney for merely believing that women should serve on the UHJ?

Why expel Alison Marshall for believing that the UHJ is not infallible?

Why sanction those Iranian Baha'is for leaving Iran via Mehrabad airport because they were required to fill out a form stating their religion?

Why spy on individuals and violate their fundamental right to privacy a year after they had formally left the religion?

Why write libelous and slanderous letters about people and then denounce them as enemies in their national publications?

Why attempt to have people shunned and split up their families because they believe differently from the official line? And so on and so forth, ad nauseum!

Given the current UHJ's own track record with its own dissidents, it is the last one who can preach about peace and tolerance towards others! They ought to start with themselves first before telling others what to do?

Casting Ballot

There is little or nothing "spiritual" about Baha’i administration. It is simply a "modernist" facade on backwardness!

The Universal House of Justice is the head of Baha’i Faith. Its permanent seat is at the Baha’i World Centre in Haifa, and all members reside here for the duration of their service.

The regular election of the nine members of the House of Justice occurs every five years at an international convention, held in Haifa. The most recent election was in 2008.

Till date there have been 10 elections (‘63, ’68, ’73, ’78, ’83, ’88, ’93, ’98, ’03 and ’08) of UHJ. There have been five by-elections, in 1982, 1987, 2000, 2005 and 2010.

Amoz Gibson, Charles Wolcott and Adib Taherzadeh died while serving. The other 13 former members were allowed by the House to resign, presumably for personal reasons of health and/or age. Five members (Hakim, Kavelin, Hofman, Chance, Ruhe and Peter Khan) have died after their retirement, while the other eight former members are alive, as of August 2011.

The previous change in membership was when two other members chose to retire in 2007. There was no by-election since they stayed on until the regular election scheduled for April 2008. Since the House of Justice is elected every 5 years, it seems that Dunbar and Khan decided to leave ‘early’ rather than wait another few years until April 2013.

Hartmut Grossmann and Glenford E. Mitchell were replaced by Shahriar Razavi and Gustavo Correa – both members of the ITC (naturally).

THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT, THOUGH, IS THAT, "THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE BODY HAS ONLY SEEN CHANGE DUE TO DEATH OR RETIREMENT: NO MEMBER HAS EVER BEEN ELECTED OFF THE UHJ."
This clearly indicates that a SELECTION PROCESS is operating behind the scene.

UHJ membership and International Teaching Centre

The most important trend is that we have, since 2008, a membership drawn completely from the ITC – which itself is appointed by the Universal House of Justice. So in essence, there is a closed loop with the UHJ appointing its future candidates. This also shows that ITC acts as screening committee for future UHJ members.

By having UHJ members constantly elected from the ITC, it is almost a type of silent campaigning going on. These individuals are given a visible role in front of NSAs whereas any normal Baha’i out there would never stand a chance to be known. This guarantees no fresh blood - new Baha’is who are outside of the loop of administration who could possibly bring in a different perspective. Hence you only get people who are inside the system who will perpetuate the same thought patterns. And you get these people because they are the only ones paraded in front of the NSAs!

These special group of people (ITC) are given a platform where they and only they are seen right there and then by a group of people who are about to vote. No other Baha’i, no matter how great his/her service, will ever have that same opportunity to be seen. This is done with a purpose. What happens is that the selection of a group of people that are called future members of House of Justice? This SELECTION PROCESS is called as DIVINELY ORDAINED ELECTION.

The members of the ITC are in fact given a geographic mandate, just like the UHJ members themselves, and travel extensively to meet with the NSA's around the world. They also meet with other parts of the administration and the community at times to give speeches, attend events, etc.

Being on the ITC gives an unparalleled platform for visibility and access to NSAs – (Vote Bank!!). Appointment on ITC is also an indication to the electors that the House is keen in electing these people only.

The UHJ election process is obviously fixed. The ITC members are pre-screened for ideological purity and are then provided with unparalleled exposure which obviates the need for explicit campaigning.

ANALYSIS

Till today there are 25 members who have been elected on UHJ for different duration, out of which 8 members are of Iranian origin. This amounts to 31.5% which is reasonably very high for just one country. The Cradle of the Faith gets priority!!The present UHJ has 4 Iranian members and the percentage is 44%.

The total number of years of all the 25 members who have served on UHJ is 431 years out of which the 8 Iranian members share is 135 years which comes out to be again 31.3 %. Strange coincidence, isn’t it?

When comparison of Iranian Baha’i population with respect to World Baha’i population is done it is again found to be 30%, which puts everything in its proper perspective. (30,000 Iranian Baha’is against 100,000 total Baha’i populations.)

Till today there have been 26 members from International Teaching Centre, out of which 6 were Iranians. Percentage 23%.

If we take account of all the members of NSAs of the world, the percentage of Iranian Baha’is on the NSAs of different countries will be approximately 25% to 30%.

Even for the 85 continental board of Counselors appointed all over the world, the percentage of Iranian counselors will be near the same percentage.

CONCLUSION

This clearly shows that Baha’i Faith is Iranian dominated Faith where the citizens of other countries are enrolled to work under and for the Iranians.

Baha’i administration has a distinct Iranian culture of domination and tendencies toward predatory corporatism. It is deeply anti-democratic and anti-progressive.

In reality these Iranians, who rise to the top of Haifan Baha’i Administration are only proficient and successful at one thing: perpetuating dysfunctional organizational culture, lies and abuse of authority. For example, Mr. Payman Mohajer (of Iranian origin) has claimed that by 2021 there will be 50 million Baha’is all over the world. An extreme case of delusion.

There is little or nothing "spiritual" about Baha’i administration. It is simply a "modernist" facade on backwardness!

Baha'i Gardens to witness mass social protests

Demonstrations set to take place in north and south Israel; for first time since start of the social protests nearly a month ago, Tel Aviv will not be holding a march.

Mass demonstrations are set to take place throughout Israel on Saturday evening, spreading to peripheral cities in both the north and south of the country. For the first time since the start of the social protests nearly a month ago, Tel Aviv will not be holding a march.

Major demonstrations are planned in Be’er Sheva, Afula and Haifa on Saturday. Protests will also take place in Eilat, Dimona, Modiin, Petah Tikva, Ramat Hasharon, Hod Hasharon, Netanya, Beit She’an as well as other cities throughout Israel.

Be’er Sheva is expecting tens of thousands of protesters to show up to the demonstration to take place on Rager Boulevard near the tent city. Achinoam Nini, Kobi Oz, the rap group Hadag Nachash and Margalit Tzan’ani will be performing.

Haifa is also expected a turnout in the tens of thousands, with the march set to begin at 8:30 P.M. from Meirhoff Square in Kiryat Eliezer to Hameginim Square at Ben-Gurion Junction, and then to the Baha'i Gardens. Chemi Rodner, Daniel Solomon and Monica Sex will be performing.

The Haifa protest will include both Arab and Jewish citizens alike, and is set to take place in some of the less affluent neighborhoods of the coastal city.

The demonstration in Afula will be held for residents from the Galilee and northern valley area, who call themselves the “northern front”. Protest organizers are expecting more than 10,000 participants. Muki, Yuval Banai, Keren Peles, Shiri Maimon and Shimon Buskila will be performing.

An amalgam of speakers has been invited to address the protesters, meant to represent the different sectors of northern Israeli society. They will include students, farmers, Arabs, workers, youth and residents of development towns.

The following is my letter to one of the main organizers of a recent corporate/institutional financed conference in Canada about Intellectual Othering and Bahaism.

Dear Mohamad Tavakoli - Targhi,

The thrust of the narrative about Anti-Bahaism in the manner you are presenting it is loaded and open to serious theoretical debate as well as factual deconstruction from all angles because underlying it, to me, are clear political motivations privileging a specific "hegemonic" narrative, in this case one presenting the victimization of the Iranian Baha'i community by the mullahs as unique - which it is not. What is most troubling about such narratival constructions as the one you are engaging in is that it conveniently leaves out the systematic patterns of "Othering" and abuse that the Baha'is themselves are guilty of throughout their history, whether with schismatics, with the Bayani (Azali Babi) community or with, yes, Muslims.

For the record, I am an ex-Baha’i and have experienced Bahaism very much as an abusive cult much like a Scientology. I am sure you are not completely unaware of the circumstances in which Juan Cole was run out of this organization, libelled and "Intellectually Othered" by it during the '90s. This organization even attempted at one point to destroy Juan's academic career, which they failed, but which they had earlier succeeded in the case of Denis MacEoin. I was personally witness to that whole spectacle in the '90s. But what happened to Cole is not unique. It has been a consistent pattern from generation to generation, and this organization has employed every form of underhanded method and tactic of abuse to silence and "Other" all of its critics, schismatics and dissidents exactly in the manner the mullahs and the Islamic regime are being accused. I know this because I have been at the receiving end of it. Are you aware, for example, that the Bahai NSA of the US recently lost a case in which it attempted to sue two rival, schismatic Bahai groups for trademark infringement of the name Bahai? Are you aware of the numerous public examples of harassment that former members have been subjected to? The purpose of the conference in Toronto you were notably involved with together with its presentations, in my mind, has all the hallmarks of what Chomsky once designated as Manufacturing Consent. There are forces and actors, specifically in the big lobbyist foundation establishment of North America, out actively promoting Bahaism and in such endeavour they are simultaneously pushing Islamophobia as a political narrative: a narrative which as Hamid Dabashi proved is nothing more than a 21st century form of Antisemiticism. This is what you are supporting and are involved with by your involvement. Throughout this all other Iranian minorities groups who have been persecuted and othered by this regime have been sidelined in the corporate propaganda spree of the Haifan Bahai organization and its Washington/London allies.

Why aren't you writing about the social and intellectual "Othering" of the Iranian Sufi Orders or the Ahl-e-Haqq - who have been subjected to far worse and for far longer than the Baha'is have - and holding conferences about this subject? Is it because big corporate or institutional sponsors don't fork out money for such things as readily as they do for the Haifan Bahais that they are promoting?

In a world where the Academy has become nothing more than a venue for perception management by entrenched elites, it is truly sad to see scholars of such promise as yourself being used in this manner to promote dubious political agendas that have absolutely nothing to do with Human Rights but everything to do with dirty geopolitics and multinational capitalist greed.

Mirza Husayn Ali (alias Baha'u'llah) God incarnate?

Mirza Husayn Ali (alias Baha'u'llah) was so out to lunch he actually believed, as did some of his followers, that he was god incarnate:

It was perhaps owing to this inadequacy that, at one stage during the ministry of Bahá'u'lláh, there were two major schools of thought among the believers concerning His station. Some believed Him to be the Supreme Manifestation of God, while others went further than this. When Bahá'u'lláh was asked about His station, He confirmed that as long as individuals were sincere in their beliefs, both views were right, but if they argued among themselves or tried to convert each other, both were wrong. This indicates that man because of his finite mind will never be able to understand the true station of the Manifestation of God. The criteria are sincerity and faith. Knowing man's limitations, God accepts from him what he is able to achieve.

Baha’u’llah married three.

1]. At age 18 in October of 1835, Baha’u’llah married His first wife who was named Asiyyih Khanum; She is reported to have been very beautiful caring and very kind; she was the daughter of Mirza Isma'il Vazir [minister] a wealthy person of the region of Yarlud . 2 years earlier before the marriage of Baha’u’llah, Asiyyih Khanum's brother, Mirza Mahmud, had married Baha’u’llah's older sister named Sarah Khanum. Of course this marriage was in Iran.

2]. When Mirza Buzurg [Baha’u’llah’s father] fell from favor with the Shah, and lost his homes, Baha’u’llah in 1839, after the death of His father, moved to Tehran were He rented a home in the Uldajan Qurter of Tehran and also took in His own mother and most of His father's wives and their children to live with Him. From this marriage, Baha’u’llah had 7 children and only three survived. These three were born in that house in Tehran;

A) In 1844 Abbas was born; He became known by the title He chose, Abdu'l-Baha.
B) In 1846 Fatimih Sultan Khanum was born, who in later years became known as Bayhiyyih Khanum and was given the title of The Greatest Holy Leaf, by Baha’u’llah.
C) in 1850 the youngest son was born and his name was Mirza Mihdi. When Baha’u’llah was exiled to Baghdad they left Mirza Mehdi with family in Tehran because he was too young to withstand that hard trip over the Al Borz Mountains. Mirza Mahdi joined his father later on when he was older, and so he accompanied Baha’u’llah on His exiles to Istanbul, Ediren and Akka were he died at a young age; Mirza Mehdi fell down on a wooden crate from a skylight on the roof of The Most Great Prison and died in there. According to Aqa Husyan Ashch’s unpublished memoirs, and in tablets of Baha’u’llah and Abdul Baha, Mehdi’s dying wish from Baha’u’llah was that the doors of reunion be opened for the friends to be able to attain the presence of Baha’u’llah. Restrictions eased soon after his death…When they buried Mirza Mehdi, an earthquake happened in Akka. Both Asiyyih Khanum and Mirza Mehdi were buried in a cemetery outside the gate of Akka named Nabi Salih…later in 1939 Shoghi Effendi exhumed the two remains and entered them on Mount Carmel close to the Greatest Holy Leaf.. that area is under the House of Justice and is called the Maraaqid. Asiyyih Khanum died in 1886.

3]. As customary of His high social position and what may have also been some family pressure, Baha’u’llah Married His cousin Fatimih in about 1848. This Fatemeh was really a widow when she married Baha’u’llah.. before Baha’u’llah she married off at a very young age to a very much older man, a relative of hers and Baha’u’llah by the name; Shaykh Muhammad `Allamih Nuri, a high ranking Muslim cleric. He dies soon after this marriage and thus Fatimih was a young widow. Fatimih became known as Mahd al Awliyaa.. which in Farsi is pronounced as Mahduliya. This marriage happened in Iran and NOT in Baghdad about the year 1848. From this marriage there were 6 children; only three males and one female survived to adulthood.
Muhammad Ali, Diya’u’llah and Badiy’u’llah… Diya’u’llah died without children, Badi’u’llah had two daughters and Muhammad Ali, al Ghusn al Akbar, at the time of Abdul Baha, had Musa, Shua’u’llah.

4]. In About 1862, Baha’u’llah takes his third; it was upon the insistence of her father who was a staunch believer. Her name was Gawhar Khanum of Kashan. Gawhar Khanum, does not go with Baha’u’llah to exile, she remains in Baghdad and joins Him in Akka in the 1885. From this marriage result in only one girl; Furigiyyih she marries the nephew of the wife of the Bab; his name was Siyyid Ali, who had 4 sons as explained by our brother Abdu’l-Husyan.
In conclusion, Baha’u’llah takes three wives; has 14 children, all marriages were before His public declaration at the Najibiyyih Garden on the River Tigres, in April of 1863.

Iran busts intl. network promoting Bahaism

TEHRAN - Iranian security and intelligence personnel have identified and arrested the members of an international moral corruption network promoting Bahaism.

The network was carrying out its activities in the cities of Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, and Yasuj, as well as the town of Evaz, which is located in Fars Province, the Fars News Agency reported on Sunday.

The leaders of the network were receiving $400 per month from certain foreign countries to promote the teachings of Bahaism in Iran.

Peter Khan is greeted at the pearly gates by St. Peter. Mr. Khan says:

"There must be some sort of mistake, I was expecting to be greeted in the Abha Kingdom by Baha'u'llah, Abdul'-Baha at least. St. Peter looks down at his list and says: " Mmmmm, it appears that there has been no mistake, your name appears right here on the list." He shows Mr.Khan the list and sure enough there's his name."

Saint Peter goes on to say: "It appears that you're fairly well balanced on the holy scales but there is just one thing we want to check with you.". Mr.Khan thinks: "And what could that possibly be?"

Saint Peter says: "There is some mention of a calamity in New Zealand that you spoke of at a talk you gave there yet there is nothing in our records that show any such spiritual calamity occurring. Let me remind you Mr.Khan that your response could weight in your favour, or not."

This has Peter Khan somewhat stumped, he's not quite sure how to respond. He thinks it over for a few moments and then says: " Well, in my position as a member of the infallible Universal House of Justice I felt myself qualified to be the arbiter of the spirituality of the community there." Saint Peter has a perplexed look on his face and says: " I've never quite encountered a situation quite like this before so I will have to take it up with the boss, I will be back shortly." He vanishes leaving behind a rose of attar smell in the air.

By now Mr. Khan is getting very worried, he's thinking: " This is all a big mistake!!! I was in my right to pass judgment on the New Zealand Baha'i communities spiritual state, what am I doing here anyway? These Pearly gates are a Christian myth!" As suddenly as he disappeared Saint Peter reappears. He looks at Peter Khan and states: "Well I took it up with the boss and he says that since He's the only one that's infallible he's given you a choice: hell, or purgatory.". Now Mr.Khan is getting really worried and starts to lose his composure a bit, he excitedly says: " Send me to the Abha kingdom this moment! I deserve it!!!" He begins to tremble a bit while thinking: "Those nasty New Zealanders deserved everything I said about them."

Just then he awakens with Shoghi Effendi shaking him by the shoulder. With great relief he thinks: " Finally, this must be the Abha Kingdom. He asks Shoghi: " This must be the Abha Kingdom, isn't it?" Shoghi answers: "Sadly not, this is a special place for all those who during their life times suffered the delusion of divine infallibility. Don't worry though, we have lots of company." ;^)

An Episcopalian view of Baha'ism

When I was confirmed into the Church of England in 1984 I asked some Baha'is I met at their firesides to come along. None did. In the end I fell out with the Baha'is as I discovered academic material that presented their history differently from their own. They are very committed to the preservation of their history as monitored by the Universal House of Justice, the nine seater male-only assembly meant to be a combined secular and religious decision making body for the world, elected without campaigns by the National Spiritual Assemblies below them, these elected by delegates from the Local Spiritual Assemblies below them. It is a very conserving system, a sort of democratic centralism: what the top level says goes.

Very quickly summarising: the origins of the Baha'i Faith are in the Babi faith that developed out of Shia Islam in Iran and Iraq. They were waiting for the return of the Hidden Twelfth Imam and a Holy War for the victory of Islam. In 1844 Sayyid Ali Muhammed Shrirazi claimed to be the Bab, the Gateway to the returning Imam. When he didn't appear at Karbala, Sayyid Ali Muhammed escalated his status in stages to the Imam, then the Prophet and then superseding to a new Manifestation of God. The movement was surrounded by violence, and started much of it themselves. The Bab appointed Mirza Yahya (or Sub-i-Azal) to be his successor, but after the Bab was killed by the authorities the violence continued and the movement was in severe decline. Sub-i-Azal's half brother, Mirza Husayn Ali, an elite Persian convert, built up his own faction and in 1863 he, Baha'u'llah (Glory of God) announced himself as the Bab's next Manifestation of God. The authorities never left either faction alone, and the Azalis ended up in Cyprus and the Baha'is at Palestine. However, Baha'u'llah, in the course of the compulsory travels and his declaration to the few and then the world of his status, read Sufi and New Testament material, and completely remodelled the faith as it came into the Western orbit, making itself syncretistic in character, peaceful and expecting the unification of the world.

Baha'u'llah died in 1892, and Abbas Effendi, his eldest son, or Abdul-Baha, became the leader and only interpreter or "Centre of the Covenant". Here there was factionalism, as a group known as the Unitarians (people of the Book, not Abdul-Baha's interpretations) broke out and were excommunicated. The Young Turks' victory meant an end to imprisonment, and Abdul Baha became a traveller around the West even more spiritualising and Westernising the movement, and was a charismatic figure as he attended mosques, Christian and Unitarian (the other sort) churches and synagogues.

After he died Shoghi Effendi became the first Guardian. Some Germans did not accept the validity of Abdul Baha's will appointing him and so the Free Baha'is emerged for a time. Shoghi Effendi should have had a serving Universal House of Justice under him, but he did not set it up. He should have left a will, but either he didn't or it never appeared. So when he died in 1957 there was a crisis of leadership, after which in 1963 the Universal House of Justice was formed and took to itself powers of the Guardian, most importantly the sole power to interpret and the power to excommunicate.

The chief of Hands of the Cause, a forerunner to the UHJ, Mason Remey, thought he should be the new Guardian. Factions have arisen ever since from that branch, including one that now thinks the second Guardian was presumptive, but so was the Universal House of Justice taking power to itself.

The UHJ produces plans for growth. The millennial nature of the Bahai Faith is that it expects the Most Great Peace to arrive (instead we had George Bush) and a tipping point where "troops" of people convert to the Bahai Faith. Unfortunately, the Bahai Faith has been born in a rather irreligious age in Europe, and other than some growth in developing countries, Europe has been slow and with a high turnover of members. Plus, the UHJ in Haifa has a habit of turning members who don't submit to censorship panels into covenant breakers. There are also quite a few people who find themselves mysteriously removed from the rolls of membership, but in the age of the Internet they continue the faith themselves with new freedom, the name Baha'i being in the public realm. A problem for the Haifa Baha'is is that only they can raise money for themselves, and members who can participate in Feasts as well as Firesides find themselves locked into administration details: the Baha'i Faith is an "Administrative Order" after all.

So at each stage of leadership transition elite groups have competed and been excluded, and it is reasonable to say that the quest for unity has been a failure because of its high cost in factions and breakaways, and now there is a more relaxed Bahaism emerging of excluded or drifter individuals. It matters not that the Universal House of Justice only recognises itself as legitimate, because anyone can read the Kitab-i-Iqan and Kitabi-i-Aqdas and the published materials that Shoghi Effendi translated into his strained olde-worlde English. Even infallibility is being questioned by individuals let loose.

The Bahai Faith is useful for Christians and Christian theology in a number of ways.

First of all we see something of a parallel in the Bab as a kind of announcer of a new manifestation, although he became what he expected. He gets positioned like a John the Baptist, and probably John the Baptist was his own man too. Then we have the central manifestation (Incarnation) figure, Baha'u'llah. Then we have the very important St. Paul figure, who becomes such an important interpreter and spreader into new cultures and giving a further twist to the faith.

Then we have the issue of authority. There is something of the Pope in the Guardian, of course, but the UHJ is like Orthodoxy or Roman Catholic centralism - with knobs on. In fact it is very Weberian-bureaucratic, and very pyramidal. Weber regarded such with great pessimism: it was anti the life-giving enchantment that he thought religion supplied.

The other lesson is that of allowing theology to grow organically and in diversity. There is a distinct double identity problem of Baha'i member scholarship in secular institutions including that of religious studies departments. It does the Baha'i Faith no favours. We see similar with some Roman Catholics. If Christians become more subject to such pressures of membership conformity, then there is a distortion to both the academic sphere and to the representational sphere.

I also suggest that Christians should express the truth as they find it even when it conflicts with doctrines or interpretations of the Bible. If there is some compelling finding about, say, the Jesus of history as an endtime Jewish rabbi, then this should come first, or at least people should be honest about the layer-cake nature of doctrines or how people interpret the Bible.

Older faiths have developed more maturity with time. They can sit light and worry less about how their faiths are represented. Or at least this is what we thought, as the Christian world gave rise to a secular and plural world.

There are pressures to go along a road of such as the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans. There is a narrowing of what is legitimate expression of a faith, and there are calls for excluding those who are not biblical enough. An Anglican Communion, properly understood, would become a World Wide Anglican Church with authoritative statements handed down, with again distant high-up forms of selection of those with centralised power.

Who knows how these developments will work out. The Baha'is could not predict their own future, despite the claimed infallibility of the words of both their Manifestation of God and Centre of the Covenant. So Anglicans cannot predict theirs! Nevertheless, if secularisation and plurality lead down the road to authoritarianism and centralisation, there are going to be quite a few Anglican Communion Covenant Breakers who will continue to define the faith in a broad way, however they organise, meet and link up together.

Dr. Peter J. Khan, former member of the Universal House of Justice, died today in Brisbane, Australia. He was 74 years old.

He became a Baha'i when he was a youth. He served as a member of National Spiritual Assembly of Australia, Auxiliary Board Member for Propagation in North America, member of Continental Board of Counsellors in Australasia, and of the International Teaching Centre, later he was appointed to the Universal House of Justice on which he served for twenty-three years.

He was tortured (mentally) by the New Zealand Baha'i community to a greater extent. May may this has contributed to his sufferings and may be this and some other pressures lead to his dying in Australia. As we all know Wahid also stays in Australia.

The members of UHJ are under immense pressure. They have so much work-load that they often succumb to bear.

Read this excerpt from his speech that he gave in New Zealand :

The House of Justice has been appalled in recent weeks to receive vitriolic, nasty, vicious letters from New Zealand Baha’is concerned about actions the House of Justice took with regard to a believer from the South Island. I’m sure you are aware of it. These letters are not many, there are a few of them, but they’re probably the worst letters I have ever seen written to the House of Justice and they came from people who are part of the New Zealand Baha’i community. That, if nothing more, is an indication of the need for a far greater attention to this issue in this country as well as in other countries. New Zealand surely doesn’t want to go down in Baha’i history as the community that has produced such nasty correspondence. Correspondence of such a kind that I am embarrassed to have my secretary see it because of the kind of language that it uses. Anyhow, be that as it may, it’s their spiritual problem and they will deal with Baha’u'llah as they wish. But the point is that here it is an indication that something is fundamentally wrong with the Baha’i community in this country in terms of its depth of understanding of the covenant and the authority of the institutions of the Faith. What you take as normal is not normal, but abnormal.
